So, I had an idea for reversed ctf a while ago, and I decided to make a map for it. Pretty quick map, I didn't spend too much time on it. The large blank space in my map is to just give me a large amount of leeway if I want to make a big edit soon. I think I suffer what's known as lighting system abuse.

@user Chex

You shouldn't start with a new tileset. Start with the idea; maybe draw it on a note.

Think about the theme. Rocks? Forest? Desert? You should search for tilesets with your theme and see how they're made. Then try using a colorscheme.

At Photofiltre you can use Alpha + / - to create a pretty good colorscheme. Just pick one color and make it a bit lighter and darker.

You should rename it in btf_bravo.

@user Alistaire: Aright, Ill work on a better one.

Thanks for the advice.

EDIT: I have another question. What's your general method for making tilesets? Do you start with a pallette? I want to make one, but I have no idea where to start.

@user Chex

Well it's totally untactical and not interesting at all. If you want a crap map to test it, why do you upload it anyways.

@people saying unoriginal.

That's what I intended. I wanted a very basic, bare-bones ctf map to test the concept on.

And Jela, I thought of that. And it was like,
Is there any way I can make it so that it's not necessary for the enemy flag there for it to be cap-able?

Some random guy would take the flag and camp somewhere.
That will ruin the gameplay.

Does not look like you put much thought into the map itself. And other than the reversed flags, there's really nothing else making it worth playing.

@user Chex

THIS won't get popular. Make an original map with good tiles.

@user medeiros:

It's mostly because I want it to have the ctf_ tag before it, so that if you host a server people who search ctf_ in the name bar they can find your server.

Maybe if these get popular I would use rctf.

1st to download.
So, reversed maps are ctf_MAPNAME_r?
Why not something like rctf_?

@user curt1996: I know I can change it whenever, I just don't really want to bother because I expect to be making modifications pretty soon.
