old [CSP] Tree Setup [v 1.0] -script-

NEVER care about the rotation, color and size of a tree on your map anymore!

With this script you can plunk down some random entities called 'tree1' or 'tree2' or whatever tree you want and on the start of a map it generates a tree on that entity!

----

The script is particularly useful for mapmakers that have to create huge forests on their maps and the like. You can just place for example a dynwall called 'tree1' and use ctrl+c and ctrl+v to paste your randomly generated forest on the map.

The best part is that you can use your own images and you can even change the way trees generate so that you can paste some oak trees here, then some birch trees there, and not care about position AT ALL!

----

Sorry I'm really excited over this script, enjoy!

2. I don't know how to fix that.

Answer is easy: all images are removed on each roundstart

@user SkullzOrig

I'm working on 3 mods at the same time. Many ideas to make into stand-alone scripts.

Is it me or has Alistaire been uploading more files than he usually had been than before?

I really can't see what you're talking about. The setup is based on entity x and y, which are tile positions if that's what you mean.

You can only put trees within the grid (32x32), you should change from accepting tiles to pixels.

You can't place tress outside of the 32x32 boundary...

If you change that then I'll give you a like

1. Random function is not what this script was made for, it's meant so that you don't have to place the same tree over and over again.

2. I don't know how to fix that.

That's what I call 'The Big Success'
Edit:
Hey you must to seed random function, else it would be all the same trees every time!
Edit2:
The trees will disappear every roundstart
