It's a good start.
You want to take all those chunks with crates that your map is filled with and make them empty spaces.

Try to use sprites to cover those blocky houses, for example with rooftops etc. Else just create the outlines and leave the inner parts black so it wont look crap at all. The layout itself isnt well thought, it's more like a maze.

Why you posted in your file's description the alternative download link of the file and the cs2d website, since there's already the download button here? I removed those non sense links.
