I think this suggestion was in 1.6.....
Mounted machine guns. Basically a turret with only about a 90* angle and you have to press 'e' to use it. Maybe it should also be a buildable item? It should have some sort of shield (the assault shield, maybe) to offset the fact that you are immobile when using it. Should have unlimited ammo, but should only be able to fire continuously for about 5-10 seconds before overheating. Priced about the same price as an assault rifle or SMG. Maybe it could be built on obstacles as well?

The idea with the controling of the turret is
awesome! But why over heat? i mean you can just use the turret that turns 90*Angel and unlimited ammo just as you suggested!^_^
And i think it should cost 7000 becouse of its good helping!

The overheating is to keep people from spamming the fire button. Think, if one of these defensive guns are set up at the end of a corridor, it would be virtually impossible to do anything to the guy behind the MG. At least with the buy-menu turrets, they fire in bursts.

well the solution would be throw a grenade, thats what i do in halo when someone is behind a turret, or rpg or watever. any explosive would work, as for overheating... i dont rly know ... could be good but 5-10 seconds maybe it should be more, watever DC decides

Why? I would disable this only for the mode "DeathMatch" because it gets annoying...but I don't understand the reasoning for this.

Gun Game


DC could make gun games a default game mode, that as you are killing you get lvl and better weapons, the only problem will be that if the server is online for 10 minutes and everyone has, for example, ak47, then anyone that enters start whit the knife and gets pwned

Knives are usually the last last level, plus, we could have the retro version of GG where you start with the mg and level down.

i know this is getting off-topic, but the GG i have played have these two modes, the one that u start whit knives and gets better weps as you advance and it gets easier to pwn lower lvls (just like any MMORPG), and the one that u start whit the M249 and then as your lvl goes up, the wep strenght goes down

EDIT: I preffer the one that as u lvl up your wep gets better, and u start whit the knive and end whit a strong wep

That was the original GG, anyways it had a level check that automatically pars the level of the new comers to the average level on the server.

Just about bots.

The bots having some problem in offlline game (or with bots).
It seems that they doesn't do anything without commands. Like - Bomb Planting, theres one bug in the game, when the CT rescuing the hostages it will went crazy.

The Zombies seems dumb as always, they walk every where like donkeys without knowledge. It would be great that the zombies clear their paths and search for the survivals.
Just like when a Zombie saw a survival it will CHASE IT UNTIL finish.

The bots should able to find their paths in Teleportations.
They seems dumb again just stand still in other side while the other stands another side.

Sometimes the bots want to go through the walls, maybe the bots should walk carefully avoiding wall but they keep sticking on to wall while walking.

I wonder if you make the bots able to break breakable objects to clear their path. Else in bot-game it would be lousy..... I got a bad connection.

The bots should be able to hear commands like "Follow Me". It was weird or maybe it's constant while the bots where checking they will say "Sector Clear" but i see just once.

One problem in game is you should disable weapon shooting sight like sparks while you are looking other side or blocked. During this the players can see zombies are just distance around and it would be disadvantage.....
As well as disable all the sights of weapon triggering (shooting, zombie claw, sparks, ect).
It's Useless with SILENCER because you could see shooting sparks behind you in fog of war.

The Spawning in game is having problem soemtimes i can't spawn at all until game ends. It's not that good if players spawn in ascending order..... Or maybe.

Having torch in cs2d is great. Anyway.....

And you should LOWER the gamma of the Night Vision it hurts my eye when it is on.....

No Zombies did not chase since right now
It won't if theres nothing they can do. I have to reedit
the map by putting dozens of bomb spot every where
for them to move around to find us. They can chase us unless they seen us then they will remember & will chase us to dawn. Unless they see another then if that other is infected then it will start to becoming a dummy standing on there swinging their claws at nowhere.

If a map without any entities except spawn point the bots become just a rubbish trapped in a trash. Plz fix.
