Well,I think that deathmatch and fight yard maps are the same?
So when I make a deathmatch/fight yard map I don't know which one to group them with.

A deathmatch map is most used in Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch mode. It's like a fight to dead.
A fight yard, well, is good in Standard (not like DM) and in TDM/DM also,

it's pretty much the same. however you should prefer "dm_" for these maps because it's the more common tag.

I believe that fy mostly is used for standard and DM for deathmatch or team deathmatch (instant fighting and no winners)

In FY maps you have the guns are on the floor for you to pick up.
In deathmatch you buy your own weapons.
That are the only differences I noticed

IN Deathmatch you don`t buy your weapons allways.

And The explains was gave a little bit up.
Fy_ for maps witch has guns on the floor and you fight with the enemy without the possibility to buy other weapon.

and in deatmath there are a lot of different things.

well really, i think that DM maps are supposed to be more organized games. Like they are better more strategic maps. While FY maps are supposed to be full DM not TDM. They are meant to be: pick up a gun and go fight games. T and CT spawn points placed right next to each other.
