There is already an old version, which is not going to be compatible with the new, better version.
You can get it at www.oraclefile.com/about.php

>How is sleeping working?
You will sleep 10 seconds and the time won't change.
The game continues for the other one.

Edit: He's 19, so he would probably have gusto and initiative, and plus he has been here since 2006, so, I'll wait and see.

The crappy footage is specifically why I think it is fake. How hard is it to take video at a decent FPS?

Xfire is pretty cool too. It can viseo capture for an unlimited time and encodes it. So you can take 2gb of video and t ancodes it to +-150Mb. You can take screenshots too. You don't even need ro register for that.

Interesting.

I've always felt that normal Stranded II gameplay wouldn't be very fun with multiplayer though.

If it really is real, what are the downsides? And how does it handle client/server problems when it comes to modifications? Is connection only by LAN? Ect.

Releasing a slideshow 'video' and no other details just seems stupid.

The downsides are, that not every part of Stranded will be supported via Multiplayer, and making a multiplayer map includes a lot of script. But we are working on Deathmatch and Capture the flag modes.

The biggest downside is, that we don't know whether we will be able to get more than 2 people connected together.

1. Is this done through the source code, s2script, or another application you run along side Stranded 2?
2. What parts are supported?
3. What parts are not supported?
4. Why does making a multiplayer map require a lot of scripting? What are the scripts for?
