I'm a big fan of Stranded 2, and to say the least, I have modified it so many times that I know its programming language quite well... I can't say that I'm the best out there, but I can do quite well for myself...


I've had stranded 2 for over 2 years now, modifying it, and playing it... I've made several maps, and I've made several mods... since I'm not a good artist... don't expect me to make any models and my item art is somewhat lacking...


I was wondering if there was anybody here that would be interested in trying some of my Mods... The ones I have made are...


Stranded 2, Unofficial expansion pack...

Since I don't know German... or whatever language that the official expansion pack had, I merely made my own... this mod was the first I made and in that sense has the most bugs, and the most junk in it by FAR... And since I was learning how to script it, don't expect anything TOOOOO drastic in it... it has plenty of new things, lots of cool ideas... several animals and stuff like that... Mainly ripped off of other game developers, (sorry, I wasn't planning on distributing it... and I still await permission...)


Civilianation (stranded2)

This one was a pretty decent game since I've already learned how to script decently and so forth... The main part of it is the simple fact that you are not alone on an island in the middle of nowhere... to say the least, your a trader or trapper or farmer or lumberjack (you get the idea) in the middle of no where... You get your resources then you sell them to the local trading post, you can also buy different things from the trading posts. It is quite fun and I spent a good 3 months with it... It undoubtedly has some bugs in it, but trust me, its alot more trustable then my first version...


ST2 Major Mod

Something I have been working on, and no its not done... I've sorta lost interest in it, but fortanitly I haven't lost my place in it... This mod builds alot on the alone in the middle of nowhere campaign that the original stranded 2 gave you... You'll be shipwrecked... and so forth, but instead of just simply building up with everything already at your disposal on the first map... you'll have alot more truth to the game... Like, you won't be able to just hammer some iron into a shape... you'll have to buy it off of the merchant in the 3 world... (theres 4 worlds...) you'll upgrade your tools, you'll build breeding pens as you gain experience and etc etc... in an overall, you keep on getting shipwrecked on a different island as you try to escape... all the islands are hand made (as soon as I can get the game together that is...) and I hope to make the first one represent the Swiss Family Robinson island... I also plan to make this mod a shrunken universe... meaning... that I'll reduce the size of everything but effectively increasing the size of the land that you can play it on... I've already tested it, and it seems to work, theres a few kinks that I have to work out, but in an overall I think I can get you a double larger world without much problem...


As I think I've said before, I've ripped almost all my resources off of other Mods, Kidnap Mod, Official expansion, Gradir Mod... they were all my favorites... (even though I could never find the medicine for the chef in the kidnap campaign...) So, I'll have to have the approval of all the owners and etc before I release anything that I have...

But I just wondered if someone might be interested, and I wanted to say Hi to the community that I have trailed after for so long as a guest!

But in any case, the civilization mod is already complete, has been for around 2 months...

A little note on the side... all maps for this mod has to be custom made... of course, I could also force the random map creators to make the different salesmen but that would be a whole lot less fun...

Of course, all you have to do is make a random map, randomly fill it... then put a couple dudes in it...

These mods were intended for only me and my family, and no one else... Only recently have I decided to give something back to the people that have helped me.

Right now, I have started uploading some screen shots to photo bucket... I'll soon give you guys the link...

Combinations have been extreamly cut down... the idea of the game is to make things that you can possibly make with your own hands while things like Iron and etc you'll have to buy at the local market...

You now get eggs from nests:
I put a 0 in the campaign menu and random map menues and etc... I was getting a little irritated at hitting the wrong one when I went to debug something... all you have to do is put a 1 there...:

In this screenshot... all the diffrent men have diffrent abilities as well... ones a butcher, the other is a farmer, the other is a stock merchant etc etc...
