The Half-Life 2 ending is sad becouse Eli dies and Alyx sees it happen!
Call Of Duty 4 Moder Warfare has a sad ending
Call Of Duty 4 Moder Warfare 2 Is a sad ending also.

Are you sure Eli dies? Because I can swear I saw him in Episode Two
I can't believe no one mentioned manhunt or Manhunt 2 (Leo ending)

Eli dies in Episode 2, not in original Half-life,
Spoiler >
Vectar666 accualy Half-Life 2 Was suppose to be a FULL game with Ep 2 and Ep 3 Thus named Half-Life 2 Couse it Has 2 episodes. but nevermind your right.

@Sunny yes Eli dies by getting his brain eaten by an Advisor.

Star Wars : The Force Unleashed

Kinda has a bad ending becouse Darth Vader's apprentice , who soon turn against him , sacrifice himself to save Rahm Kota and the other rebels against the empire

However it is said that in SW:TFU 2 , Darth Vader is going to clone his apprentice so the story isnt over at all.

Black & White 2. You have to sacrifice your creature.
Planescape: Torment. Your party die and you can't do anything about it.

In planescape:torment your party gets alive too and death of the party aint the ending
the ending was rather good
