Hmm... I think there's a bug in the haunted house, I kill the little girl in the basement and nothing happens.


Also... I prefer the old hands than the blue ones, it gave Abel that "old freelancer detective" feel.


One other thing... Your new mod doesn't have Dead Harvest, that map was good.


I really liked the new bed and house.

Nah, that's how the Haunted House is. You're trapped in the basement forevers... Or, until I make a new "Haunted" level.
And, which texture? The brown one?
I deleted Dead Harvest because of a bug: if you quit via the "Quit" button, the game freezes, then logs you out.

So... Trapped forever with a dead little girl in a basement? I find it hard to not become a necrophiliac under those circunstances.

Well, I am now getting some ideas done for the New Story. I am trying to make it even better than the others, with a much "epic"-er boos fight ending. The Queen will appear, but as a mini-boss, I suppose.
Sucks to fight two at once
I was thinking that a living brain should be the main boss, what do you guys think?

How about a mutated GMN leader with a few shooters helping him?


Nothing fancy tough, one of those boss fights where the shooters are only an initial annoyance while the GMN leader is the only thing in the map that actually needs to die.


And an use for the magic scrolls would be nice, I can imagine a NPC conversation like this:

I was thinking the same thing. The Final fight would take place in a city or something, and he just wanders the street to find you.
And yes, the scrolls will appear in the story mode.

What???
Your mod is one of the bests I ever saw and really, I think I used almost all the mods. And your mod will be the best if you remove the shaking hands bug. When you'll upload a new version of the mod without this bug?

Well, the bug is actually within the source code. I don't think 'units' were meant to be used as in-hand models. The shaking bug is absent when you use 'objects' as in-hand models, like in V666 Mod.

You can use units. You just need to use the stranded 2.5 modified .exe and edit some of your scripts.

The problem on use objects is that you can't animate them.

Or you could waste 5 minutes of your life and find out yourself by downloading and opening the editor.

Anyway... It's in the top 5 of the best mods in s2, no doubt.

Yeah... The brown hands looked really pro while the blue ones look like a copy/paste from some old FPS.


And well... Most mods are dead or unfinished, yours is still better compared than most though, I'd say it's something like this:

1- Kidnap: for being extremely loyal to the original S2 style, none of the stuff in there looks like it came from a mod.

2- Your mod: Pretty much the only combat-based mod that is actually fun, plus it has a few scaring moments here and there.

3- Massive: It's filled with survival stuff so you can survive with stuff while surviving with more stuff and stuff...


It looks like your mod is the only one being currently worked on atm, all the others only have screenshots or the classic "Hai gais Ima make mod but first I need all of you to help me.".


Btw... The flashlight doesn't work in my game for some reason, it just says I cannot use it, and for some bizarre reason I cannot eat it either.

Well, have you tried "using" it?
I will try to publish this Mod as fast as I possibly can. Gonna need to work very hard on making these maps happen.
