I think this is because youtube doesnt accept all formats.
as far as I know .avi is one of them. but uploading videos in .wmv format works fine for me.
in case you dont know how to change the video format: use the program "FormatFactory". it is free and it can change almost every video format into almost all others.

I'm guessing you're trying to make a survival horror based mod?


If that's the case I got a suggestion for you:

I downloaded your zombie unit and made an endless game for random maps for my own amusement, I must say surviving in a dark jungle with those zombies you made while riding a bike with only a little bit of lighting was one of the most jumpy experiences I had in stranded.

It took me like 5 minutes to make a spawn object for the zombies and 30 minutes for the endless game, considering that I just removed the units I didn't wanted and placed your zombie into the endless game along with spawn objects, I'm having quite a lot of fun with my imperfect mode.


I'm sure that if you put a little bit of work into an endless game with those zombies something good will come out of it.


I always get disappointed when good mods only have a short adventure story and a bunch of great new items with no place to use them.

Well, it's not so much of a survival horror mod.
THAT's for another mod in the making.
This mod is an action/adventure mod.

Hmm... I have no idea when this will be released.
This mod is growing difficult to do. With all these new things being introduced to me, and "throwing away" beta maps, I get fustrated each day.
I was thinking about pausing progress on this mod for some time. Like a lot of good people in this community, you gotta have an idea an stick with it. Apparently, I am starting to lose my touch in modding. There, I said it. I just can't continue with this mod the way it's heading. It seemed so easy at first, but things like school, and so many conflicting ideas are getting in the way.
Alright, I got a plan.

Since I was viewing some stuff with zombies, I should probably make this a... Horror Zombie theme. What do you guys think?

Well Stranded 2 is a pretty crazy game, kidnap mod had a flying carpet in the middle of a village... So I guess you could add zombies somehow


Just to let you know, the random map is basically just the units from easy map and the zombies with spawn objects.

While that's fun, I'm having more fun with a map I edited, it has a city full of zombies and a few groups of stray zombies spread around the jungle, also some NPCs to trade with in an isolated camp.

One of the best parts of the map (at least for me) was going into the city to look for stuff I usually wouldn't find in the jungle (vectar's house model for enterable houses).

I also need to waste a lot of ammo with your zombie, so a way to buy or make ammo is probably a good idea (the pirate or sulfur stones for example).


So yeah, if you really want to put zombies in a mod for a survival game think about looting places, some kind of safe spot and a fair source of ammo.


I saw the video for the mod and I'm guessing you're adding a lot of guns and new items into it, so it probably wouldn't be too hard to make exploring dangerous places a rewardful experience so the player can be motivated to find new places instead of just eating bananas at the jungle away from zombies.

Kidnap Mod includes a mafia guy, (how he get there?)
In this mod, there are certainly gonna be some new units.
One includes a different zombie model, a hell hound, and a mutant. And a soldier. Why a soldier? IDK lol.
But yeahs, what I will be doing is like a "safe room system".
You travel through a level, facing horrors.
At key points in the level, you'll find safe rooms.
In these safe rooms, you can:
-Rest on a bed.
-Log on to a laptop to buy items.
-Save your progress.
This much of the new Pupp3t Mod is known.
I'm also experimenting with a script that can make a teammate with you in the level

As long as you add a story with more than 2 hours of gameplay and some decent new units/objects/items I'm sure this mod will be great.


Just... please... don't add a Nemesis, I had enough of that guy >.<

my advise to you is to release what you have, and start again if necessary, or you find it to hard, but in that case, you'll never get anywhere starting again

Well, here is why I can start over without any regret.
I got some objects that were just laying around. Now, I have a chance to use them. I got new sfx for the monsters, as well as textures and models.
I NOW have a one-track focused idea on this mod, and I will finish it. Maybe sometime in the next month or so, I'll see if this can go up on the site.

You should try to release a small demo.


Or at least some units/items files so we can test them in the editor.

Something like that the Berzerker I made has a bucket thing over his head. Lol and sone overalls. So yeahs, fighting him is well, in essence, fighting a Tank.
And I'll see if I can upload the items AND units I created so far in the Files Archive.
Forgot to mention: there are Classes of Weapons found. They are:
-Handgun class
-Shotgun class
-MachineGun class
-Rifle Class
-Melee Class
and some throwing stuff too

I just tested your units, I like what I see so far.


I know that the current stats of your units are probably just for testing but I have a few suggestions for you:

-The range that it takes for your enemies to see you is way too low, especially for the dog.

-Change the speed of the scuttler and the hound to something faster than a lion but slower than a raptor (zombie speed is fine).

-Change the speed of the beserker to something a little bit faster than a raptor, those big arms must be used to charge at you.


I also noticed something very important... you like to make gore fall down from bodies.


I think you should consider making a new non-edible meat item (or at least one that you can eat and get very bad results) that you can get from your enemies.


Maybe you can use the meat from zombies for something like this (jump to 0:40):

Could be useful in dificult areas with too many zombies.


I don't know if you tried but hitting a zombie with a machine gun can give you quite a meal.

And.. what's in the Youtube video, because it says how the website banned thus video -.-
The AK-47 and Pistol from the original Stranded are used in this mod However the AK-47 is used as a simple rifle :3

I'm still messing around with your units.

I noticed that they like to travel a lot, I placed a beserker on a 64x64 map to see how far he would go and he literally walked the whole map.

Also, I think the zombie and beserker work better with the predator behavior instead of raptor.





Oh and ak-47 in original stranded? What?


I thought CSmod was the only thing with an ak.
