seems like a new trend is evolving... and it's a bad one. therefore I'm creating a thread to stop this asap.

everyone who uses the following image in future:
(attention! blinks really fast)

is an epic loser and will receive a temp ban. why? it's annoying and hurts the eyes.

this also counts for comparable animated images of course.

Hasn't that been around for a while already?

I agree with the epic loss, and I would like to say in addition to it that such flashes can cause epileptic attacks and you certainly don't want to be responsible for that as an innocent Unreal Software user.

Well, I hope my avatar is okay though. It is animated and has dark colors with medium-bright spots (that is flashing smoothly at the speeds of ~500-1000ms). Therefor it's not hurting the eyes.

Unlike the "EPIC WIN" animated avatar DC displayed in the spoiler. It has bright text flashing too fast at speeds of perhaps ~25-100. I also dislike the epileptic seizure avatars and I wish the trend dies out someday.

ah, this black color written on bright-yellow paper hurts my eyes so much!

No, really, what about slowing down the ms-await time of the blinking gif. I mean, It'd be 20 times slower. Still a problem with it. People that want to use it could still use it (slower...).
