Also, how about making spawn protection. No one is able to kill anyone at spawns for player safety. No one wants to get spawn killed the first seconds as they have spawned. If DC could implement this into the game it would be most appreciative. Also add a green glow to indicate spawn protection, it works like that in some Counter-Strike servers. It's very good.

You mean physics?
Physics can be good in CS2D ,but is very hard to make it perfect for 2D game i think
I remember CS2D in 2009-2010...

CS2D is tile-based. So this probably won't even be possible

Then fake it somehow. Just earn the belief of the players.

(BTW, Minecraft is tile-based, right? And there's moving blocks in it [sand].)

Like Flacko would say "nothing is impossible" haha. If DC wants to implement this though, it'll be all his decision. I'd love some phys. objects though.

But you can script in physics using Lua, so why should DC bother? Just use collision detection via distance measurement and some speed-detection and you can create moving boxes with ease. You could even shoot them if you coded your objects right.

The problem with that though is that no one really knows how to do it, so that'd be a kind of difficult task for some that don't understand Lua scripting. Hope you get me on this one. Please give some example of how to do it. I personally don't know, so yeah.

Implementing phys. objects ingame would be alot better imo.

the performance from lua isnt good enought for such a project.
you must remeber that there is no function to creat colllusions per lua you jsut can set the possition of a player which is WAY to laggy for such a thing. now that there a tween animations its easier and it doestn take THAT much traffic but still through the constant setpos traffic will get fucking huge.

But still if you can really do a non lagging physics simulation per lua that would be pretty amazing.

A new suggestion I have is to improve the airplane animation that you only can hear. I want it to be possible to see the airplane shadow when you throw the flare that indicates the airstrike on the ground and making the airplane shadow appear from a random direction dropping these bombs, extended graphics on this part would be so cool.

Here is a example of how I want it to look like, sort of. But made from a 2D perspective.

And the airplane sound has been done with lua before.
But not many servers use it, so It would be nice to hear all the time.

i Suggest

1.a way to Hide the chat,cause from when im playing with a lot of people,every1 is spamming or im not interested on read those messages.so with something like "enter" u can hide it.

2.a "private message" like @id 2 hi buddy


and why not "music" on cs2d "main",like cs 1.6!

Moving boxes can be done with Lua, it wouldn't look very pretty, but still, it can be accomplished.

engineer stop saying that can be done with lua thats so stupid and (refering to one of your comments) making weapons with lua is stupid because they dont work like the standart ones
