Ive been getting this problem since i updated Internet Exsplorer, what happens is after downloading a map from the file archive and extracting it into the cs2d folder, then playing the map it crashs saying there is no spawns, i looked at the map in the editor and it dosent even have any enities.

This has happened with all maps ive downloaded and no one else seems to have the problem.

I havent had any downloading problems when dowloading anything else, but do i need to tweak my dowloading options etc.

Thanks

So, what's actually happening.
You start cs2d, you click on a map. And there is nothing? On all of the maps?
Maybe I'm wrong mainly because I know nothing about this error but is your cs2d in the program files? If it is, put it somewhere else.

The main problem is theres no spawns, so i can run the map, start the server but it crashs whenever someone trys to spawn.

Of cource there are the other problems that there will be no hostages bombspots etc.

This isnt happening with all my maps and my downloaded ones, just the ones ive downloaded in the past week.

Also my cs2d folder isnt in program files, i have another drive for my games.

I really don't know then.
Try downloading the same map on another computer, if it doesn't work then it's something to do with the map.

Yea, would be interesting wich map you actually downlaoded. So we could look it up if its the same problem to us.
It could be a problem of the creator itself, that forgot to place some entities and spawns.

By the way .nfo's or Readme.txt's arent just existing to steal space...

Trust me i went to the readme first thing, but it didnt help.

I noticed it when i downloaded Times maps but i know it must be a problem with me as lots of other people have downloaded his maps and not one post about this.
