why you make a "new version" of happy town? It s yours? I don`t think so. This map created by Happy Camper long time ago and I have firstest version.

Happy Camper? Wasn't it Apple or something?

As you can see, there are LOTS of Happy Towns by LOTS of different people.

Yes, it all came from one map, but since I don't have accurate and proved information about the original map I can't give credits to the original map.

I release Happy Town X separately. If people want to make their own Happy Town, make it from scratch or edit the first one (like I did).

Ok, making huge maps like 65000x65000 or even a 100000x100000, isn't always better, it all comes down to how fun, creative, and re-playable a level is. Big maps can show how creative you are, but some people may not like that fact that it would take FOREVER to get around and look at everything. Like me, I've tried a few big maps, like the NYC map, Fallout 3, and con_houses_ru13z. I found them interesting, but got VERY BORING after spending 30 min+ trying to explore everything, and deleted them, (But not Fallout 3, I loved the game, and loved that map.)

But that is just me. I can't enjoy big levels like that. I will just stick to my small (< 50), medium (51-149 ), and large (150-300) levels.

For those people that want to spend the time to make them, go right ahead. I'm not stopping you.

i cant believe u guys dont even know how 2 use entities!!

the equivalent of a "door" is a dynwall or dynamic wall. what happens is its pretty much a substitute for a wall or obstacle but it can look like any tile and it can be triggered to turn on/off

a usual entity/trigger combination is:
use (triggers "door1")
dynwall (name "door1")

then when some1 uses the use entity itll toggle the dynwall status on or off (making it disappear)

a usual entity trigger for delay doors:
use (triggers "door1a"
delay (name "door1a" delay [in seconds: 1 or 2] triggers "door1"
dynwall (name "door1")

at least thats how i do it

a useful option is the "dont close when blocked" on dynwalls, ud be smart 2 use this unless its intentionally a doorkillzone (like death runs)

another useful thing is the move entity u can use this instead of use as a less spammable way to activate "doors"

Hey everyone! i am an experienced CS:S mapper and i have now begun editing cs2d maps. Editor works like a charm
I have found the Zombies gamemode underestiamted, not a lot of people play it.
I am starting a new type of zombie map as a tribute to the gamemode
If any of you have ever played Zombie Escape (ZE_) Maps in Counter Strike: Source you know what this will be like
You run through the map, get to a saferoom, Click a button triggering CT Win.
The maps are Zm_flee_(name) maps

BEST GAMEPLAY SETTINGS:

Max Players : 32
Active players: 16v16 (Might have some problems with bots in certain areas).
Fog of war: ON
Zombie damage (taken): 0.7-0.8 (down to 0.4 for greater challenge)
Zombie Speedmod: 3-7
Time Limit: 30 (Per Round, Yes really)
