Hello people, i am here to basically report a "bug" on the website:
When you insert a link, such as a google image for example, and you find one with this link for example:
[...]letsstoppollutingkenyanwaters.wikispaces.com/file/view/water-drop-aaa[...].JPG/104523017/water-drop-aaa[...].JPG

The anti-spam thing don't allow you to insert the link, because it's considered as a kind of flood.

Can someone fix that, like, add an exception for spamming in links?

You have three options.
Click on full screen image (Google)
Save the image, and then upload it.
Use a site that shortens the url, making it a nospam/flood link.

Has it been fixed? What's the new restriction limit for urls? If it's unchanged I guess I have to use a renaming service.

I think that's because of "aaa" part.
I remember I once couldn't spell one name right because it had 3 or 4 letters "r"

I have the same problem. Every time I try putting an image, it's there when editing, but once I submit or preview, the tags ( ) are removed... Is this normal? Tried in both Opera and Firefox...

Original link that didn't work :

Also tried with TinyURL:

Even tried uplaoding it to imageshack in .gif and .png :

This really sucks

The img tags really don't work, they disappear as soon as you post/preview your message.

this is something different.
the forum automatically removes image tags for images that are too large to be included with an image tag (because they would f*ck up the whole website layout)!

p.s.: width limit: 650 px, height limit: 1000 px
p.s.2: same happens when the website is unable to retrieve the image size

edit:
I now added a [ bigimg ]- tag showing images which are too large in a scrollable area. the forum automatically converts img tags to bigimg when images are too large (instead of stripping the tags)

but I would still like to see a sample about the link problem. or was it the image stuff you were talking about all the time?
