Er... The Search Feature doesn't work for my particular browser for some reason, so I don't know if this is already a Thread or not. It regards scripting though so I posted it under here.
Anyway, I don't mod Stranded 2 A whole lot so I'm relatively a Newb towards it all, can anyone give me a bit of info regarding 2 things, read the title. Its redundant to have the title be the question your going to ask.

*Background info* The thought occurred to me after taming a few Raptors during the Adventure mode, if the more Violent, Dangerous, Evil creature is Tameable, why isn't the Lion? To make sure that it was true and I just had been lazy with it, I spawned a Random Island and put it on Hard Mode (That's just how I play, and it makes lions more plentiful) I accessed Debug Mode and gave myself about a hundred Raw Meat(s) and spent the tedious process of feeding all 100 of them to a Single Lion, to no Avail.

So now it brings me to the official-question-section thing. Idk make up your own name for it. Which script do I need to modify to add a Tameable feature to the Lions? Not knowing scripting I am going to assume it works like this:

Just copy the Tameable script from the raptors and change certain ID values to match the Lions, and the amount of meat needed to Tame them, Correct? Again, I don't mod and I'm not good with scripting on this game so its only an assumption.

By now this post is rather long so the second question is being put down into one of the "More" tag things:

indeed, that's how it works.
just go into the sys folder and open the units.inf file, find the entry for the raptor and copy the necessary scripts to the lion.
the scripts are written in a language which actually is rather easy to understand and since you seem to able to do a little logical thinking (unlike a lot of noobs who pop in here and shout "I wanna make a mod help me plz" ) you should be able to understand them easily after some reading through them.

about the new items:
yes, for a new item you most likely need a new model (except you want to make a new item that uses an already existing model) and in order to make one you have to get a 3d modeling program. there are quite a few of them out there in the internet but some are better for beginners, other are rather not, some cost money, some dont.
if the search function doesnt work in your browser I suggest you get another one, e.g. in FireFox it works fine for me. but listing up all the different modeling programs and their pros and cons is work that I really dont want to do again now because it has been done so often by now.

the rest you assumed is also right, you need a unique ID and a new definition for the new item in general. the icon is rather unimportant for starting the game with the new item in it, you can even use it when it has none so far. but there are some problems e.g. if you place the item in the editor and click on it again to set some options, the game might crash. also in the end you want to be able to tell different new items apart so you still have to make icons. but they arent the main priority, just saying.

I also am new to using scripts and modeling. I downloaded the programs Wings3D (Freeware) and MilkShape (full paid version, but there is pirated). I use Wings3D to model because its more easy, and MilkShape to apply texture and export. The MilkShape can also be used to create animations, but I have not made any.
Note: I export the file from Wings3D in 3DS format and in B3D in MilkShape (What is the format accepted by Stranded II model.)

I've also thought about doing a script to tame the lion, but I had no idea what to do with a lion tamed, hehehe.

When you make the script to tame the lion and what to do with it, send it to me please.
