Why defrag it if it's not fragmented?
I said I can't record the damned window system - meaning only the OS running
Lol @ 'virtual cores'
@Roni Video Drivers, IDT sound drivers, and onboard network drivers. My motherboard is a D945PAW/D945CZ (Look up the PAW one, it's its more commonly used name.)

how u know if it's not fragmented?

He might've defragmented it already
I don't know what to suggest. Try to turn off your antivirus if you have one. E.g., it always turned auto-scan on when I tried to play GTA SA, and my PC was ultra-laggy. Maybe it's the same with screen recording software for you.

2. Shut up. I know more about pc than you
3. This topic is about helping him so calm your balls and shut the fuck up. If you want trouble i can make you some.

get your facts strainght before trying to say something stupid. And if you try to make me angry or provoke me try find wiser than telling something that is not right.

*facepalm*
You never said anything right about PCs. I can bring up the list of people who agreed with that.
1. How was that off-topic? I wrote what the problem might've been.
2. You never said anything right about PCs.
3. You haven't helped him in any way, so please just get out.

user bezmolvie has written
Yeah, ignoring him sounds like it might work.

@Sunny Yes, my PC is custom built, and yes, it is an nVidia with an Intel processor, (I didn't buy the video card, I had it already), and this thread was mainly to ask if that might be the problem, the card itself might not be powerful enough, or if what I thought was enough really wasn't.

Your card looks fine. Just a generic and dumb question: are your drivers and DirectX up to date?

Oh really ? You didnt help him either, so stop act like smartass. And i am more right about PCs like you you are just jelous fuck who can only troll. Try to shut up at once and stick with the topic. It was really unecessary you answered. So shut the fuck up. I fixed metric shit of stuff on my friends PCs while you did shit. So please calm your balls shut up and stay the fuck away from me. You will do favor to me if you will ignore all my posts and not answer to them. This will prevent your perversion flaming and trolling and make admins waste less time with trolled up idiot. Help or not i tryed and every try is a good try. So shut the FUCK UP and stop act like a fucking smartass. This is my last reply to you and i hope you will aware yourself before this gets bad. I rather ignore you than try getting banned. If you want to get banned ask dc lee or some moderator. They will complete your wish in few hours.

I don't have any words. Most people who read your posts disagreed with you. How can you be right then?
I can ask you dozens of questions on tech, which you won't be able to answer without using Google.

And who are thouse people ? Nemesis ?

Not everything people say is right. If i say your car is about to be destroyed you go to junkyard and go searching for it becouse i said it right ? This i fact and stupidity i love on most people. 65% of the world is like you not thinking kid who thinks he is smartass and when he says something than world turns around. No ! you are wrong, this is reality and as far as i can tell from reading your posts you will cry a lot in your life with this stance.

Also i have friend here on unreal software who has some friends who hates you. You are just poor dumbass without life. More people hates you than anyone i know. You maybe act like a sweetheart in real life but on internet you show how fucking dumb you are who really you are and how stupid you act. As he said this is internet and leave me be. I dont want you to answer to anything i say anymore.

Heh. Reminds me of Ultr4killer.
@Erik: Providing wrong information in attempt to help someone ultimately, doesn't help him. Sunny Autumn has been trying to help me using suggestions that might actually fix the problem. You apparently have no concept of what trolling is: doing everything possible to get the emotional reaction out of someone. Saying "You don't know what your talking about" is not trolling, and, since you really don't know what the fuck your talking about, the only thing you can do at that point is turn around and try to personally insult the other person. I could Analyze your last posts and tell you the myriad of things that are wrong with them, but I don't want to spend all day here.
The main thing I want to say, though, is, I'm sure Sunny, like myself, does not care if a bunch of clueless kids hate me.
Really.

Now!
@Sunny
The computer's about 3-weeks old (OS-wise, atleast). My antivirus is Avast!, which wasn't taking up any of the processor's time when I was recording. I might add that nothing, other than what I was using to record (And the game if I was playing one, but in the case of the window system, there was, of course, only the recording problem).

Either way, Erik, be you Ultr4Killer or not, you are being very, VERY, VERY stupid. Sunny was just posting his opinion and/or advice, you are being the worlds most immature dumbfuck ever.

EDIT: Forgot to add my opinion on ur prob, lulz.

AFAIK, not being able to record even the Windows desktop is not usual, perhaps your recording software is the problem. Some recorders operate like so:
1. Take a snapshot of the current frame in the GPU's buffer
2. Send snapshot to RAM to be compressed
3. Snapshot is compressed and the RAM taken by the uncompressed snapshot is freed before the compressed snapshot is placed in RAM.
4. Either place the snapshot into a disk file then repeat, or simply repeat until 5. ( the former giving you a lower framerate, but now slowing down your computer/making your PC lag. )
5. After multiple numerations of the above steps 1 through 4, clip ends. ( the clip can be cut short my a lack of RAM, but you have plenty. )

Now, this is how some not-so-great screen capture programs work:
1. Take a snapshot from GPU's buffer.
2. Move to RAM.
3. Repeat until end of clip.
4. Compress entire clip + move to RAM.
5. Move the compressed clip to disk file and free the RAM.

Now this will cause HUGE lags at high res. Unfortunatly, quite a few screen-capture programs use this method, such as CamStudio.

I had plenty of RAM while recording; the CPU was just bogged down (80% - 99%) by my recording software.
I've tried both Bandicam and Adobe Flash Media Encoder, the latter taking up the higher amount of CPU. Bandicam gives an alright-result (Of the desktop), but its using 80% of the CPU is too much for me to do anything else.

Haha. First of all i didnt said anything i asked something. So there is nothing i can be wrong with. So please be quiet and read my message again.

If you want suggestions i give you some

fraps is a monster to tame as its basically dumping raw AVI data to your hdd there is fix to getting perfect no lagg recordings. Drop your resolution down to as low as you can go and set fraps to record at 30fps. If it doesnt work try to put it to 60fps.

Most definitely not the answer to the million-dolar-question.

There really is no point in going on since majority of what you posted is a load of bullshit.

as soon the GPU hits its limits (soft- or hardware) the CPu will help the GPU by helping with the calculations.
ALSO maybe if the video drivers arent up-to-date or the wrong they GPU maybe runs with low performance which may causes this huge CPU load.

Ram got shit to do with recording.... And agian it was not opinion he started to protest. Opinion with provokable model is not an opinion. You got shit into what i said to sunny and what he said to me. You should stick to topic and shut up. He and I can say each other what ever we want as longer admins accept it. and it shouldnt bother you. So you are not on higher lever than me or he is. Tell me if it was necessary to answer like that ? Was that ? I dont think so. Just another idiot who acts like complete smart ass on the internet. Try to care more about life than about me cause while you talk to me you evidently forgot about it. Shut up ! Do i want so much. As you say he said his opinion i said my opinion that doesnt make us stupid. Making enemyes here is really easy. I am on tons of forums and comunities including minecraft, terraria, crysis, and lot of more, but i never saw so mutch dirtbags on one place. I never had problems with other players. Problem is thouse dirtbags are most active. They answer to everything. I dont want to go of this forum or nothing. I just want to make this place better for everyone, without trolls or anyone who plays with your mind. I just have enought of you (nemesis, sunny, dany deth) You always try to troll me to shit. Why are you even bothering. If you hate me than ignore me. I see you wont do favor to me, but it would make me a bit happy that i can do my stuff without anyone disturbing me. But life is like that. Idiots are everywhere including internet. So please L I V E M E A L O N E. If you hate me than dont answer to any of my posts.

Be quiet, did i make myself clear ?

Get a life and stay the fuck away from me. Go to trashcan and go search for more pc parts and food and also clothes. Your 1 year old clothes are shited and pissed over. After that go back under bridge and go eat worms. Your life is fail, so you try to fail life of others. Pageant fuck.

You know, Yates, when you first joined US I really didn't like you.

I love you by now.

Anyway, Erik, again, not being able to defend your position, you go back to try and personally insult those that say your blatantly wrong. Well, as it turns out, you a blatantly fucking wrong. Unless you have some magical answer, which you apparently do not, as all that you have posted is derogatory bullshit, PLEASE stop posting here.

@Roni I understand that, but my card + my central processor should be enough to handle screen capturing, right?

Yes, they are the latest video card drivers

I'd understand if one capturing program took up all of the processor's time, and that would be at fault with the program.
However, and I cannot stress this enough, I've tried three completely different screen capture-ers, and not one of them produced a desirable result.
