hmm html is xml, I don't consider it a "language" in the same sense...though my thoughts are different about styles and webscripts though (js,vbscript, activex, etc).

I recommend starting with a strict language such as C or Java, learning loose languages are easier but if you want to progress it's easier to go from say C to php rather Lua to Python~

Actually: if you post your idea here everyone will know it was yours.

Okey you're right I'll post my idea here.

Imagine that you have made a huge map with lots of sprites, sounds, etc. ..
Once you have decided to upload your card.
And then you started making zip archive with your sprites, sounds, etc and sometimes you forget to add some sprites in the archives and you'll have to re-upload your card.
I want to make a program that will itself create a zip archive with all the sprites and sounds that you used to create maps.
Good idea?

Could be useful, but I rather advise you to create i list of all ressources used, instead of packing them directly into a zip-file.

I think it's a pretty good idea...
You'll need to dive into the .zip and .map file formats though... Pretty hard thing to start with.

But if i make this it will awesome no need to create zip archives just start my program patch your map and upload
