I got tired of the default square-ish look of Minecraft, and i didn't wanted to change for another Texture Pack because i like the default tiles.

So i searched for some Vanilla HD Texture Packs and i found only photo-realistic shit, or half-made ones.
So i want to make myself one, make the pixels smoother by blending them with the close ones, something like this:

But doing this work in all tiles pixel-by-pixel takes a damn long time, is there any easy programs that make this stuff quickly (i don't want to read 9 pages tutorial for something like this)? Just blending the pixels with the closer ones would be great.

Anything that makes pixels looks smoother...
The default resolution of the Minecraft tileset is 256x256, i set it to 512x512 and i want to make it look smoother, simple...
Blur, Blend, anything.

Indeed it does, using photoshop for CS2D skins n' shit is ridiculous, but a Minecraft tileset is different.
A big CS2D skin is like 64x25, that's a total of 1600px counting with the pink parts (around 60% of the skin).
A Minecraft tileset is 256x256, a total of damn 65536px to paint... since my tileset will be 512x512 that's even more, 262144px... i'm totally not painting all this by hand.

I don't make tilesets very often...
I make small pixelart such as weapons and characters, for hobby.
Not big stuff like tilesets... i'm not good with textures actually. Anyway, i only want help with this, can anyone suggest me a program or help me make the stuff?

I hate pixel generating shit. You can ask me for help. The size of those minecraft tiles equal the size of cs2d tiles anyways.

Well here's something you could try, I did it a while ago with interesting results:

Upscale the image about 2 to 4 times, make sure that you have per-pixel blending enabled so that it becomes fuzzy/blurry, and then downscale it the same amount of times you upscaled it before.

On photofiltre; (automatic)
On other programs; (total crap)

Actually the method they use to make Minecraft-ish skins is just with 3 fucking pixels for every color. Now don't go and try to make minecraft look smooth, because we know you can't make it smooth.

i have a good idea:

ask the question in the fucking mindcraft forums!

Too lazy for it, get lost.

And i've already found a really nice one: Faithful 32x32 Pack
