Fix the bug that stealth armor doesnt properly stealth a player.

Sometimes in my script when i do setarmor 206, the player appears stealthed to himself, but not to others. This was the case in 0.1.1.9, don't know if it's fixed already.

Pointless idea.
New skinning technic: You can make a weapon in map editor using tiles, make mapexport and resize it 32 times smaller. (I must try it.)

It has been fixed, setarmor now shows everyone what the player is wearing. But equip still does not.

Yea I think that in the future making the CS2D client and shared files in a similar manner to CS 1.6 and CS:S.

For example im talking about letting the player use and see their own skins on sv_pure 0 servers while on sv_pure 1 servers the player would be able to see and use the servers content.

The temporary DLed files from the server would not override or replace their existing skins.

All servers would remain sv_pure 0 thus the game will not be alter and people will still be able to use their custom or default content.

Only custom and or mod servers would have sv_pure set to 1. So for example HL2D servers could let players use their HL themed content if only on that server.


I'm sure this would require loads of coding work but I believe that in the long run this would greatly improve CS2Ds gameplay and would expand the player base as people would be able to easily enjoy new custom maps, skins, sounds, scripts, and so forth.

It would also open a door of near limitless options for CS2D modders



Another thing I would like to see is server side scripts for primarily the weapons/equipment and other purposes as well. This would help modders tremendously.

And as a bonus no one would ever have to request another weapon for CS2D again They could easily make it themselves.

just some basic options like

damage "per round/shotgun pellet.

type "shotgun pistol smg rifle exc"

Primary Fire type

Secondary Fire type

rate of fire "from 0 [semi auto] to 10 [1500 rounds per min]"

reload speed "scale of 0-10 [for shotguns this would only affect the time it takes to reload 1 shell at a time. face it we all want the shotguns to reload properly like in all the other CS games]"

accuracy "0-10 scale based on how wide the weapons arc of fire is"

Just some ideas Ive had floating around my head if you have any questions just ask.

Would be also cool if the sv_pure command would have second option to use content from U.S.G.N. servers instead of the game server/client content.

I believe it also would be cool to add autoupdate which downloads only files that has been changed.
example:
content.dat/txt/whatever inside the client sys folder would define version of files in the game. and same file in U.S.G.N. servers would define the newest versions of the files.

If the file gfx/weapons/m4a1.bmp in the client has version 5 and the server says the newest one is 6, the version 6 is downloaded

If sfx/radio/roger.ogg in the client has version 2 and the server says the newest one is 2 then it's not downloaded.

If the file is not existing in the content file it will be downloaded from server

If the file gfx/sprites/palm.bmp should be removed from the client. In the server content file it's version would be "Removed"

32 players with over 100 skins. Hell no. Plus I don't want to see someone else's skin on my screen, that's why people change them.

Someone with a penis skin just ran across my screen, great improvement you got there.
Also I could just make all my skins fusia. Invisible everywhere.
