Deadman Wonderland wasn't that good.
Highschool of the Dead was casual trash.

Deadman Wonderland's not good if you watch the anime, they had to skip/delete some parts from the manga... And these parts were friggin' cool.

Highschool of the Dead is just pure fanservice. Every chapter has like 20 of them.

Yeah. I know. The opening from Deadman Wonderland was best i've ever seen, but there are so many things in the anime i don't want.
So -
1. There is no end.
2. Bad characterevolution.
3. Urgent parts missing.
4. Simple story (in the anime)
5. That "Wanna-be-fun-and-full-of-action"-theme

I've also heard that the manga is far better, but have no time yet... -.-
So partly i enjoyed watching DW, but partly i knew that the anime is bad.

I really enjoyed HOTD - it was a trash anime, but one of the better ones.
The story is always the same on each zombie-anime/movie/game/what else - so that's no revolution, but the characters were cool and it was also funny. Pretty much action and also a cool opening.
I hope for a second season.

I would also add
x) Great Teacher Onizuka (anime the best, but manga still better)
x) Angel Beats
x) Tengen Toppen Gurren Lagann

Another cool sports-anime:
Hajime no Ippo

@user 3RROR:
Oh man I love their soundtrack, here's a pick, from the ED's title you might think Slam Dunk would be a romantic comedy...but that's not the case.

@user A Mad Bro: Watched that as well:

@user Ahmad: That's only because the fans egg on the developers because the anime didn't end properly. If the producers made an anime that end well there wouldn't be OVA/OAVs.

@user KimKart: Highschool of the Dead is a obvious fan-service...though I admit it was pretty funny.

@user useigor: Hard to say, a lot of cartoons that you watch from USA could be dubbed but still an anime.

I enjoyed Clannad, but I recommend stopping after the first second. The reason is because at that point, it's already the best it can get.

The same is for Shakugan No Shana, amazing first season, I recommend watching the next one.

In my opinion, I believe that anime has a lot more depth than any cartoon could ever achieve. There is so much going on in anime that has to do with character development and emotional trauma and so on and so forth. anime also touches on valuable life lessons such as death, betrayal, sense of justice, friendship, and most importantly that nothing is truly "black and white". Also it's extremely addicting to watch. A lot of Japanese anime are so nicely written and done that even adults find them interesting. Japanese are really creative people I guess.

.. but hey everyone has their own opinions

I do not concur. A well written story is good regardless the style used, though I find anime to my liking. Others may not, for it's just a matter of taste. There are plenty of good writers and manga artists out there, not necessarily japanese.

Oh yeah. But that one is a never-ending (Didn't watch the anime) manga! It has like +900 chapters... Almost reaching the 1000th chapter! (They're on the 976 chapter and almost reaching the 100th volume) More than Detective Conan (Started to bore me since they only add 2 chapters of the real storyline about the Black organization every 200 chapters or something)

I wish the would make the anime the same as the manga. They always ruins some parts of it.

I like Naruto, Dragonball (Z rocks, GT sucks), One Piece and Death Note.

All quite mainstream, but I don't care

@user Apache uwu: Some anime's pay more attention to details then the story, one of only things that can stop me from watching anime with a great story. Is when I miss a episode, and there a no reruns.

Which do you prefer? A awesome story or the best graphics?

I prefer an awesome story. It's the same as a game, no matter how much graphics the game has, if the story is boring as fuck no one's gonna play it.

@user 3RROR: You mean like the game Crysis 2?

Didn't play Crysis 2 but 1. The story is good and the same with the graphics. There's exceptions ofcourse.
What I meant is I prefer normal quality but a good storyline.
