We need just wait, ofc DC is invest the time first on s3 then he can put more efford on another projects like cs2d.

What about the feature of removing all the text when chatting with the command Ctrl+Return?
For example when you write a long text but then refuse to hit enter you can delete the text quickly.
Should be easy to implement.

@user Vladimir Putin: You could do that with the escape function key, "ESC". It'll instantly remove the chat text.

Or they could make it just remove the last written word. For example if I write "Hello my name is DC" then it should remove "DC" only. If you do Ctrl+Return in textfields (e.g. in the browser) then it does this effect as well.

maybe add a chat 'informant'? or however it called. When you said: "rank", there is a nice thing with image and your statistic, but also it works like a standard message and it's image move like a normal chat message. Maybe it's possible to make able peoples to use such things?

Maybe it could be possible to do that random things.

@user Mora_rus: Although you can do that with scripts, it would be somehow limited and unstable, I support this idea considering how easy it should be to implement however I think that it should be triggered by an actual lua function instead of relying on a player message.

@user _Yank: Custom fonts by CS2D Clients reject the lua possibility. Then it comes to font size, which depending on the font is different.

But also add the feature of loading images as tilesets (drawing just a part of an image).
BlitzMax does this with the LoadAnimImage command, implementing this in CS2D would be very helpful, no need to send like 10 images anymore, instead you do it just with one.

Voice chat would be cool. It told before i know but the answer was third party programs are better. But here is the point i don't know random guy in server be able to communicate via third party program impossible and in some servers, game is too fast to type like hc fun. You cannot find much time to speak with community. System like CS:GO would be awesome. Mute the players if we don't like to hear and the rest can speak.

@user avciberk: The Counter-Strike 2D network layer is built in a way that it cannot handle the voice chat traffic. To design such a feature in CS2D, it'd require to rewrite the network UDP layer from scratch in order to handle at the same time the game packets and voice chat traffic efficiently.

To put it simply, it is a load of work and not worth the effort. Thus you won't see such a feature in foreseeable future. For further information, take a look at DC's answer.

@user avciberk: Why don't you ask your favorite server owners to run some TS3/Discord servers so people can connect to them whenever they come to play in the server..?
