I didn't read all the replies, just wanted to comment the subject.

This is a great idea, mostly because DC would be rewarded with funds for his awesome games and maybe he'll use them in the development of the current games and maybe upcoming ones, who knows.

Second, it's an advertisment source for CS2D. People will start visiting the website and perhaps more people shall come and play.

In my oppinion, DC should try this. There's nothing to lose.

You really surprised me this lack of imagination and aversion to the idea.

Seekay you complaining about the kids in the game all the time. So I'll tell you this same as you tell to me - Got a problem with the kids ? So focus on playing with your friends !

But CS2D is filled with them. CoD for example too, but atleast many mature people play it, not like in CS2D.

You will not find mature players without a game promotion -.- Each game is full of kids, but promoting it can reach the "better" target group. And it is not true that the older players play only in orginal and big productions. That older players looking for games with a soul and oldschool style - Cs2D have this.

I dislike playing with flaming kids which are rushing with M249 and admins who enable speedmod and get themselves Laser and Super Armor. It happened to me a lot. Inb4 someone says he never saw an admin who's abusing rcon.

Annoying and stupid threads, disgusting and terrible files, flaming and childish posts.

This is the Unreal Software website community in a nutshell. And guess what? The big part of it is under 13 years old.

If more children check out the game, even more children will check out this website. Which means more annoying threads and files.

CS2D is free. Therefore kids will prefer playing it than the original. Promoting it only gets more kids, because it's a free game. When I told some friends about CS2D, they laughed me out. And now ask yourself why. Btw, CS2D doesn't have an oldschool style.
