this has been done by BigSid in his Stranded 2.5 Mod.

at your current level I'd recommend though that you dont bother with this for now. the scripts are somewhat complex if I remember correctly and require a certain modified version of the source code by Mc Leaf.

I hear you, It still gets me kinda mad when I can't see my hands, not really mad, just annoyed.
