Hello friends, the game Counter-Strike 2D to more than three years but the years pass and the game is too decaying think, to invest my money my effort more to do all this?

Good've done it invested more money you enter, and a server that you bought for example and has a mother and daughter hacker gets boring ban someone who can come back after using the same hacker and influencing others to use. Now I do not know many friends I lost because of hackers and lack of news that unfortunately exists and I know I can be wrong in something that I admit more which will be the future of CS2D here five years? Should I still play? What can I do now? These and many other issues that exist and perhaps may not have a complete answer.

That and a relief, if you have something that you are sure can improve the CS2D comment we comment.

Sorry for my English.

Admin/mod comment

This is clearly about CS2D so it doesn't belong into OT. Moved /DC

I'd say CS2D is not really near the end and thanks to @user DC that made this game and to others that helped, improved and made good contributions for this game then is not such to worry about this.

As for cheaters (or hackers if you want to call them but i don't agree calling them hackers) they are just bunch of people that has nothing to do is to use cheats in the game to have an unfair advantage score (maybe because they are too frustated how to win or maybe they just do for fun) and thei are nolifers after all because they ruin the game experience and the gameplay.
And as for the attackers that DoS and DDoS (in rare case that they DDoS) the servers, they are just immature that want to destroy the servers and ruin the whole game.
Yea, this is not really related in this thread about the attackers but i just said the current situation about CS2D and this happened in the past too (maybe not often or usually but is happened anyway).

It just needs better advertising, if DC was to get this somehow on Steam It would probably get a lot more players, I know that he had contacted them and all that but still. It could work in a way wouldn't it? Those nexon guys got their nexon zombies one on steam as f2p, why wouldn't they accept this one?

CS2D user's community is smaller than before but that does not mean this is the end of CS2D.
Also the game won't have a bigger community if we don't share it and also if we continue opening useless/empty servers.
Anyway if you want have a great community and more activity start sharing it to your friends or in blags/communitys/forums that you're allowed to share it.

It's not all LuaJIT that would save CS2D (Even though this would be great). It's the lack of creative people bringing out cool mods, maps etc.

Take a look at the servers, they all suck hard (Badly moderated, the maps are boring, the scripts are even more terrible).

Last week I took a look around and the only decent server I found was a prison server (fws or something).

Yh, fws jail has a lot of nice moderators and they keep an eye on break rulers. I'm mod there too and I keep the server full of fair players and I kick the rule breakers ass.
In my opinion, cs2d never will die and will be alive forever (or till DC will decide to close it, but this thing will not happen soon ).

@user Yates: actually that's my reason of why I stopped developing CS2D modifications, there are many things that haven't been implemented which I would've done a long time ago if this was available, I've just hit the "limit". From my point of view, creating another game mode sounds a bit pointless because it's what Lua scripters have been doing since this game became scriptable, therefore you won't be able to see much more than images moving, sounds, hud stuff, etc. But there are still things you wish to do but you might step back because you realized that you've hit this limit.

I remember when cs2d was have ~250 servers, now is not more than 90,100.
Other servers like a "magic city","Roleplay by misho", many happy towns, kgb2dgta, gmods, standarts, prisons, deathruns, rpgs, coop shit.. All this thing is forget bcs of cs2d is too bored, @user DC: maybe don't even think about it, only when he come on his site.
@user Starkkz: good luck with your new play2d project..

@user Mora: Good guy I know that once had more than 200 servers when I played today fell enough, but I think the players want something new in CS2D.

Well I'm sure the CS2D need advertising to promote it more also need someone, a just those hackers who create and then share.

@user ead: i'm not sure i undersand you..
But yea, CS2D a lot of time has not changed a lot, (green/yellow buildings is just a fckin small bit of it)
Peoples get bored by cs2d, and not only bcs CS2D isn't changed. The smaller wave of good servers=the smaller peoples play in. But these 70 servers.. half of them is empty.

@user Mora:
Yes these servers are open for nothing, with no one to use them and believe the CS2D was, refurbished opening new doors for innovation.
