@user DC: Yup we have that too, change it

Seriously though in 2017 most domain names are taken (the good ones ok)
I recommend searching for another option

DC Universe

jokes aside, are you considering other, cooler, domain extensions like .io or .club ?

Would be nice if it was something like darkcorners.club

You should try to identify the name with the crazy scientist of yours. It's pretty much a part of everything.

@user _Yank: Honestly every time a new domain extension is added the value of top domain extensions like .com, .net, .org rises. People will always recognize anameofadomain.com as a website, and somethingelse.club doesn't cut it.

Never buy a random domain extension. Always buy a top domain extension or the extension of your country if you are only based locally.

@user Dousea: That would give off the impression as if you need to prove you make real games by using a variation or translation of the word real.

I'd refrain from trying to do that with anything.

@user Yates: I get your point however, what about .io ? May look less professional than .com but definetely isn't just a random domain. It sounds good (and easy to memorize) and has a nice reputation on indie projects and communities.

@user _Yank: .io gets promotion from things like Github and is a widely known extension under developers. Try and give your parents or grandparents the domain swift.io without adding www. and ask them what it is. If they don't recognize it as an extension and they are a part of your target group then it's a bad idea.

io is kind of established for web game stuff but I still prefer the good old com and I totally agree that other weird tlds aren't good. Also choosing whatever.club (for instance) just because whatever.com is already taken sounds like a really bad workaround.

@user JasJack67: I dislike being egocentric so my name shouldn't be part of it. It also shouldn't say "freeware" because it's possible that some things won't be freeware in future.

What, if you would call it like your old comics?

weirdpals.com. It's available, too. Easy to remember, can related community, since we are weird. A LOT, just take a look at comments.
