I've tried to run the Linux dedicated file on a fresh installation of Kali Linux and the OS doesn't recognize it, what should I do? Is Kali Linux supported?

I never heard about Kali and I never used it but I just read that it is based on Debian and CS2D runs on Debian. So chances are good that it might work on Kali as well.

What exactly do you mean with "the OS doesn't recognize it"? Can you give us the error message and/or tell us what exactly you're trying?

Common issues when CS2D doesn't run on Linux are:
• missing libraries > install required Linux libs for CS2D
• missing files > make sure CS2D and all required maps/images/configs are in place
• missing permissions > chmod the stuff correctly

The problem is that the processor is ARM and I was told CS2D wont support it...
Will there ever be support for that processor just for the dedicated to run?

Unfortunately, no support for ARM will be ever made for a very reasonable reason. CS2D is written in BlitzMax and the language which CS2D was written into does not support ARM (RISC) architecture. Furthermore you would need to compile also the required libraries for ARM if you want CS2D to work but it is a huge hassle and effort.

Oh, so the actual problem is the CPU architecture not the OS. CS2D supports CPUs with x86 compatible instruction set only, like the majority of all PC games these days.

So unfortunately user GeoB99 is 100% right about it. That won't work and there are no plans to change it. Simply not worth the massive effort - if it's even possible. I also don't think that it is very practicable to run game servers on ARM devices.
