How to detect (hook) whenever an item disappear from a map? And what command does set the time period?

If there's no hook, what's the best solution to detect it w/o
item(0, 'table')
command?

On drop start a timer that'll count down from the server's set item de-spawn time, it will call a custom hook function with whatever parameter you gave it, should be the internal item id.

There is no hook for that yet.
I will add cs2d lua hook itemfadeout to the next version.

Probably what user Goo said is the most efficient solution in the current version.

@user DC: Can't you add hook? It will be better.
