The official English translation of Stranded II is now available.

> Download Stranded II in English

special thanks to
Moritz Landendörfer (aka EwokChieftain) who did the most translations
and Magnus Holvold (aka magnulus) who recorded the english voice files

there are probably still some typos or translations which should be improved/corrected/changed. please feel free to report this stuff in this thread (this is important since neither ewoks nor my mother-tongue is english)

I've just quickly read through some of the inf-files and I must say the definition contain mistakes and are often less precise than mine (from the latest version of the mod).
Things that stroke me:
• "Poison Mushroom", "Poison Arrow" (what about poisonous?)
• "making bolt" (as far as I remember, the gain is 5?)
• "sharp iron bolt" (if it's no blade but sth. that pierces, that's "pointed")
• 2 relics of "Trinken" instead of "drinking" in edible.inf
• "Seastar" is Germish, that's a "starfish" (silky as I am, I do not mention that in earlier versions of the mod, there was the same mistake )
• "Perl" ( + o = Pearl)

On the other hand, I had perhaps sometimes been a bit too flowery...

Actually, "Poison arrow/mushroom" is just fine, and actually much more common. "Sharp iron bolt" makes more sense than pointed, but maybe "sharpened iron bolt" would be better -- though personally I think it's fine as is.

Perl needs to become pearl and seastar needs to beome starfish, that much is certain though.

Minor translation issue, but Feuerstein would translate to flint, instead of firestone. And not a translation issue, but you can't build bownets anymore in random maps, nothing unlocks them. Dunno if thats intended or not.

Anyway, I found a few others.

a blue blossom. Can be used to stop bleedings

Probably would want to change that to bleeding, also, from the same item.

You have no bleeding!

You aren't bleeding! would be better.

Here's my list of found typos and other translation problems:

- Firestone's description has a missing word ("hand").
- Some "Cooking" messages are not translated.
*-The picklock says "Use the object," "you want to open!". It would make sence if you removed the comma.

Also, I have some bugs to report. An English bug thread is necessary.
Edit: Thanks.

Okay, I just updated the download and fixed stuff which has been reported so far.
I did not change the version number for this because I did not fix any game bugs. only translation stuff.

thanks for the assistance!

Um, I hope you fixed these:

- The broken bow net.
- The health potion (the translation doesn't sound well)
- The flour, I think.
- The cutscenes when you're getting the gold for the pirate.(Did I mention it already?)

• The pistol round is still called "Kugel",
• The arrow is still called "Pfeil",
• "Longbow" is usually spelled without a dash
