I'm having difficulties to distinguish cooked food from raw.
Since I never stand looking at the food for the whole time it cooks, when I return I don't know what to pickup and it usually burn...

I don't know what solution could be made. Maybe altering the colour of the cooked food texture, so that it's slightly darker than now...
Anyway excellent release! When I played multiplayer with a friend of mine, I really missed all your features!

try using pickup key (default 'u'). it will make you automatically pick up any cooked meat, saving both time and burns

One thing I found with playing around in the mod's code is that you can create a palm stump when you kill a palm tree.
I think it would look a bit more realistic.

it might also be fun to make the palm tree grow back from a stump.

I was just thinking about that
it would be awesome and much better than planting a branch for a random tree
i mean how can i grow palm tree from liana tree branch?

assuming you are planting seeds found in that branch it is possible.

havent heard of growing trees from a stump tho

What about making a combenation for guns?

Pistol = Branch x1, Iron x1, and iron rod x1.
Shotgun = Branch x2, iron x1, iron rod x2.
Bullets = Iron rod x 1, black powder x 5, prebles x5.

its kind of hard surviving then u have 1 lion and 3 raptors after u, no ammo left and without any water around.. And how do i make an explosive barrel?

There was a combinations for the pistol and shotgun, but builder removed them, not sure why though

Don't you think that you can make at least 3 long handles or 6 short handles form one log.

I just cant see why one thick log can only make one handle.

Is there any way to transfer water from a bottle into the clay bucket? Because it never rains therefore there is no way for me to fill the bucket up from puddles. Id like to be able to fill it up using the squeze leaves teqnuiqe.

Also shouldnt the clay buckey be able to get water from salty areas too? Its not like your drinking it.

@John, Builder added that function into the latest version, but made a mistake so you can only fill unfired clay buckets, this has been fixed for the next version, so you'll have to wait.

Unless you fix it yourself in the combinations_potions file like I did

I have just downloaded the Massive Mod Files from page 41, and whenever i try to start up stranded I get an error message reading: Stranded II Mod dir/game files are missing. Can someone help?

I'm guessing you're just clicking on StandedII.exe. Well, most mod makers put their mods in a separate folder in the "mods/" folder so that a single installation can have multiple mods. This is generally accompanied by a ".bat" file that has simple instructions for launching the mod. (In this case, "MassiveMod.bat")

When you launch StrandedII.exe without any command line arguments, its default behaviour is to look for a folder named "StrandedII" in the "mods/" folder to load information from. In order to load a different mod, you either have to create a shortcut or launch the executable with the command line arguments StrandedII.exe -mod "<Mod Folder Name>". This is usually done for you by mod makers by making a ".bat" file to automate the process.

Re-download it, i got that error a few times when messing around with some of the files deep within.

I didnt understand why it happened because i only changed some variables for experimentation so i re-installed massive mod and it worked.

Hope that helps.

Edit: Psytechnic beat me to it, i didnt take into effect you might not be clicking the massive mod .bat.

It would be too simple and unrealistic. i think you should play the original version

Hmmm maybe it shoud be that:

Pistol = knife + 2 brach + 2 iron + iron rod + fuse + fire + hammer + 5 nails
To shoot you will need : ammo + gunpowder
For 10 ammo you will need : iron
After 5 shoots you will also need new fuse.
After 2 shoots you will need clean gun (item made from branch and wool ) (sorry I dont know how it call in english)

What do you think about this?

It shoud be a much harder to made becouse for gunpowder you need salpeter and it is pretty rare.
