No portals on mines. I suppose bombs count as a building, too. If you can't build on a spot with a wrench, I suppose that means you can't portal on it, either.

the bomb counts as building? well, I think that they are different from land mines and other building stuff

mines, laser mines and portals are a subtype of buildings yes. but who cares? you can NOT build them with the wrench. it's only an internal thing. don't think about it. it doesn't matter! (I see that I should not have told that...)

however you don't have to stand on a bomb to defuse it. you can stand on a tile next to it as well. so you can defuse it even if someone opens a portal right on the bomb.

about damage of gatefields/barbed wire + portal: as already said: you can't open portals on buildings.

Yes, but you could make it for ct harder by making extra portals around it, and planting the bomb in a corner, so they have to go: In and out in the first portal, and doing the same in the second portal, etc. when you got around 4 portals thick around it (needs much teammates though.) You can waste like 5 seconds of time for CT.

If that so, Adminscould havea command to set these settings. Default shuold be Infinite.

Like mp_teleport_time & mp_teleport_limit.

Portal closes on death. As for the limit for people? It is a PORTAL. You can shove thousands of bots through it and it wouldn't break. That is, if you can somehow get a thousand bots.

there will be no settings for that. however you can kill or create portals with cs2d commands / Lua. so you have nearly infinite possibilities for your scripts.

portals will be killed on death (this did not happen in the video. it has been changed) and also when a new round begins of course.

-prision maps will no longer need pistols or rifles in a random cell or even breakables tunnels, just a portal gun and a obstacle behaviour cell door, much easyer, guards could get some portal guns also, but not for the whole team

-deathrun maps also, there could be a trap where a TR must plant a laser mine before a CT could get there, so CT team must sacrifice one in order to keep going (or just stop noobing around and be quick), also, only one laser mine for TRs

-puzzle maps just like the Porta game! we could make a remake of the game in 2D, just a addict player in Portal and the CS2D map editor and good tileset

-sugestion= maybe gravity guns and "pickable" objects?

-human vs bots maps, humans as CT must plant laser mines quick enough so TR bots cant pass, or even zombies

-yay zombies, put a one time (1) portal gun secretely hidden in map and u got to survive zombies camping near portals, zombie maps would not be in too much disavantage if theres only one portal gun

-single player mission maps or co-op maps would be easier to make, since theres much more stuff to do whit portal guns and laser mines, yes i know this one is st00pid

-de_dust_portals, yay incremented gameplay for classic dust and dust2, even aztec (best map in my opinion)

and everything u can imagine, the ones i listed are quite obvious but u get the point

Indeed. Most zombie maps I see are cheap and obviously survivor-oriented: it's all basically unfair. Just hope that zombie-mappers are fair and don't let the survivors heavily abuse the new items.

That's exactly what I said.

Or the blue ones 1 tile after the yellow, for example: If a T goes to the blue, he will return to the yellow all the time.

impossible, one is the entrance to the other, it wont work, lets suppose u shot a blue portal in the narrow corridor and a yellow one in a room away, the CT go to the blue and hes tele to the yellow, then he enter the yellow and goes to the blue and walk to the left and defuse the bomb XD, unless it is a dead end, example: its a narrow corridor whit a dead end, u shot a yellow portal in the last square of the dead end and a bue one one square next to the yellow, if the player step into blue hes tele to yellow, and the only direction to move is into the blue portal, which will take him back to yellow and so on

u must have in mind that one is the entrance to the other, now you are thinking with portals!

I was working on what WAS an infiltration map, but I ended up running into needing lasers.

if you need lasers for you map: trigger_move + env_sprite
