CS2D General Portal Gun + Laser MinesCan you shoot the portal gun trough a wall? or only through obstacle?
How long are the tripmines laser can go?
I think the trip bombs will be good, even though I mostly play standard games.

watch the video carefully! it answers both questions.
- you can't shoot portals through walls (because it would allow you to teleport outside the map area etc. + it would make the portal gun too powerful)
- the laser has a length of about 5 tiles

totally impossible. there can be only one portal OR building on the same tile. you can't create a portal on another portal.
another example: did you ever see two players killing each other with a firearm (like m4a1 or awp - not he, rpg etc). at the same time?! certainly not because it's absolutely impossible due to sequential code execution in a single thread.

Right - Blue?
+ to destroy both portals you will have to press r right?
edit: Will you be able to change the max ammo like maximum of carryng tripmines becouse in real half life you can carry 5!
You destroy your blue portal by shooting another blue portal. same for the yellow one. Click a wall/metal ground/deadly tile/building/mine/other portal or die to close your portals.
you can't change the number of mines you can carry.
before you ask more questions about the new stuff: just wait. the release comes soon.
Is this a problem? I also noticed that there is "free rotation" in properties of env_building instead of having simple directions Right, Left, Top and Bottom (I think the directions thingy is only ment for the laser mine.) Because spinning buildings around makes no sense.
rightclick the rotation circle to switch between the 4 possible directions. the direction will be the direction of the laser beam.
other graphics of the laser mine ("on wall+glow"-sprite) can not be changed.
I forgot another thing related with env_building: there's a bug with the position check. if you are using a map which is not quadratic or which is higher than it is broad you might have problems as soon as you try to place buildings at y coordinates which are higher then the highest possible x coordinate.
temporary solution: change the size of the map to a quadratic size (height=width)
this will be fixed with the next release of course.
