I still don't understand why people complain about my net all the time, it's better than the net I had a month ago. Hitsu told me I had a okey connection, with no lagg.

Yeah, I want to get an optic-fiber connection, it looks like it really improves pings, you have 3ms @100mi and I have about 180ms at the same distance, although I'm using a router.

Back on-topic: I think it's not the country that matters, it's just the distance of the computer you want to connect to, like, with my internet I can't connect to the us domains because it's too laggy

many hosted servers have a 100 mbit (btw: 8 megabit = 1 megabyte) connection for download and upload while most internet users have a much slower upload than download (as you can see here). however upload is more important for server hosting because a server needs more upload speed than download speed. (because a server has to process and forward most messages from players to ALL other players)
I notice you have those stupid connections which have low upload(Well here, in Finland faster connections are like that, 1/1, 2/1, 8/4or1, 24/1or4or8, 100/10 unless you get from one small ISP that costs a lot they have like 100/100 I think.

Although my Internet sucks my average ping isn't bigger than 100.
