i also somehow get these problems when ever i edit my map cs2d all of a sudden closes!!
I am so old school with this game

I'm sorry but CS2D seriously doesn't do anything to your system. this is not normal and doesn't make sense. check your system for viruses. put the windows disk in and try the recovery/repair stuff of microsoft. I assume that it was coincidence that it happened while you were running CS2D.
@Yamato4147:
don't install/extract it to "C:\Program Files" when using vista or 7 and make sure that you are not running it out of the zip file without extracting it. or try to reinstall it.

Lol, a piece of software can't really "fry" your computer.
You should check somewhere else.
Hardware configuration, system drivers, Windows shit, etc.

@DC
I scanned for virises and there wa not one &it happened while playing CS2D. Besides it could not be a virus because I do not have Internet on it yet

why are you (playa slaya) now answering? I thought it was Dark Void who had the problems?! that's truly confusing man.
that you do not have internet doesn't mean that you are safe. the fact that you installed cs2d means that you somehow must have transferred files to your system. this way you can also transfer a virus to your pc (without knowing it).
you can try the repair console of windows as I said. again: CS2D doesn't do anything in the system registry or doesn't manipulate any system related files. the only place where it operates is its own folder. so I have no explanation for that. there is no logical relation between a f*cked up windows and CS2D.

I have vista, I think that Win7 is almost the same.
Try to run as admin;
Try to do compatibility;
Try to run as the safe mode or go to bios and change the master drive to CD-ROM(or DVD, I don't know);
