You can edit the grafic/sound files (which are in the gfx and sfx folder)
Or you can write Lua scripts, but those only work on your own server.
The only possibility to completely mod this game is to use a very old version (before 0.1.1.0 if I remember right) and edit it with the programming language "blitz".

DC made CS2D from alpha to beta 0.1.0.4 using Blitz3D, then from 0.1.0.5 (Max) using BlitzMax.
You better buy Blitz3D to make a game, because the source code of old CS2D using Blitz3D.

you can only "mod" cs2d by using Lua Scripts, or you mean by Skins Editing, just draw any craps in a paint software and put into your gfx folder.
Does anyone here remember the old CS2D modification CS2Dg(old)?
Man, you could get headshots there if you shoot at the exact center of a player, deagle fires faster and shotgun shells reload individually.
Plus, the scoping was like that of Max even before Max came out. lol.
Yeah, but nowadays the "new" people would abuse if they could get to change CS2D's engine even a little bit.

DC wont make you a mod, sorry, he choses moderators only when nedeed and they must be exemplary users in order to become a site moderator
