Since the new CS2D 0.1.1.8 is coming out, I'd like to make some new suggestions... Perhaps you could add the "Trigger_Random" entity to the in-game map-making system? Not that it would be very important but it might be useful in a few maps; and, maybe it could work like this:
• (All default stuff: name, rotation, etc...)
• A only when triggered box, or it could be deactivated then started with the trigger_start entity...
• Write down names of entities that may have a chance to be randomly triggered in a text box (like: entity1, entity2, entity3...)

And maybe if possible:
The ability to place an entity over an entity? And maybe layers that you can edit... (entity layer1, entity layer2, etc...) It could prove very useful in map making, like an instant teleporter (click the button on the same tile and teleport), or click a button on a tile and get a weapon/item instantly (it appears under you then into your inv), and so on...

I know that Lua Scripts exist and can maybe be used to do these functions but it's simply too complicated for some people (or lazy people)...
I know you don't like to hear suggestions, please consider this DC.

suggestions are still not welcome.

and it makes especially no sense to start making many suggestions short before a release... I'm busy enough with the release. I will not implement additional new features for the next release. so to everyone out there who's thinking that it's a good time to suggest stuff now: you are wrong! it's actually the worst time for doing so!

moreover stackable entities and map layers have been suggested far too often already. that's why I hate those repetitive suggestions...
