I think the truth is not clear, we should not believe something they tell us, It is bizarre to believe that a bearded man made us, just as it is bizarre to believe that we came from a handful of particles from space before they exploded, The human being from the beginning, try to seek this answer, taking the rays and thunders, while some believed that this was a divine work, from which emerged the religious belief ... and while others tried to seek more specific and rational reasons, then emerged the sciense... That is, creationism, evolutionism, are just ideal to be followed, each with its own fundamentals.

So I believe that the truth will never be discovered, and does not mean that it is any of the 2 ideas, it may be something totally unknown and unimaginable, So my belief is that we should live in the best possible way, because we do not have much time.

@user Yates: @user kkkkkkk: are arguing to death about a pun.

Some cannot take the creation/evolution as a coincidence of millions of events that finally brought us to live, which on its own is breathtaking and incredible.

The Big Bang Theory is Yet Another Human Attempt to explain stuff and sounds ridiculous, to be honest. Why didn't it happen again since then if the science is correct? Why aren't we a giant black hole yet that suck everything inside? There must be someone who has lead the way and had given us a chance to live. God is not the Lord of the Sky, God is the Lord of the whole universe and we will never be able to reach out to our creator to say thanks.

You don't have to believe in evolution as it doesn't base upon belief like creationism does but scientific explanations. You see it. It happens. While creationism uses religious beliefs as primary source, unlike evolution. Thus it's not testable. Creationism is just an assertion.

Evolution indeed doesn't explain the origins of life but no matter what it is, life has always evolved and still. By the way, evolution(-ism) is completely incorrect, there's no philosophy behind it - it's jackshit.

Wow, I would've presumed a gaming community would be all out evolution.

Religion aids an absolute majority in less developed areas like Uganda, but obviously you won't deny it is indirectly correlated with terrible global conflict.

Science is also indirectly correlated with terrible global conflict. (guidance systems etc)

They're very different topics so to chose between or compare them is nonsensical.

Buuut your forum title was slightly different to what I have discussed so in short, evolution is fact, creationism is myth. It's 2017 guys! By saying that any form of supernatural entity (god) exists is denying millions of people lifetime after lifetime of work and research. In effect, you cap our intellectual capabilities as individuals and make the human race universally less significant.

What? Just because I think that at some point a godlike entity started the whole process of universe creation, universe expansion and evolution I deny millions of peoples work?

That's absolutely strange. So you think just being a really small random chance, a thing that happened "by accident", is less significant than a thing that happened because at some point someone steered atoms into creation that ultimately lead to us? Someone who knew what they were doing?

Yes, it's 2017 and we have the Internet now and can look up what great minds said about God. They all agree with creation.

Please tell me more about these great minds. Like, who are they? How long have they been brainwashed? If they were so great minded, how come they have not figured out that this is all a bunch of crap?

Please, I want to know. Tell me more of your opinion and state more facts you believe to be true as I can almost hear you chocking on the ball sack.

i saw some religious propaganda youtube commercials the other day; i must say it is the very worst possible way to sum up any form of excuse for a god.

being agnostic, i dont really care about what people believe; but when they try to swoop in, and say stupid shit like this, im going to be a cynical prick... they make it too easy.

I don't think the significancy of something like is completely irrelevant to me,
what matters is that it is at least theoretically provable and not just an adapted belief.

"Checkmate atheists."

Atheism is not a religion, Atheism is a rejection of religious beliefs.

Im even more opposed to Monotheistic beliefs (Islam, Judaism, Christendom in that order) than to Polytheistic beliefs (Asatru, Hinduism, Shinto, Hellenic Religions).
At least polytheistic religions don't claim their gods to be all merciful, when quite the contrary was written down.

I just don't believe in god anymore.

What lies ahead at the end of the road for me is a pure dark abism of eternal despair which you'll suffer throughout eternity.

Kinda like school but instead of failing and repeating the year you'll be forced to do it anyways.

Attention - This is what I think.

Why can't you accept our lord and saviour Thomas user Yates?! You all are going to be doomed!

I don't know, if people believe that some old balding man created the universe, let them believe in it. What I hate is that they brainwash their children and force them to believe this nonsense though, along with all that "our god is merciful and everything" bullshit, even though their books show that their god is ruthless, sadistic bastard. Plus, religion is perfect tool to broadcast propaganda and spread lies. A lie told often enough becomes the truth.

It is easier for people to say "oh, god did that" and believe that they failed in their life because "they didn't pray enough" or "didn't do as their god told them", rather than constructively think of the real reason why are their lifes so shitty.

Got a problem or someone telling you something is not like you say, eventhough he has enough evidence to prove he is right? Call it blasphemy and call the person heretic (or in worse case, hurt him).

Evolutionists can't even name anything in nature that contradicts with creation. All the miracles in nature are just errors according to them.

Evolution is change in the heritable characteristics of biological populations over successive generations.

You probably don't know about the dinosaur tool called Google, seeing as you probably don't believe in dinosaurs.
