Hey guys,

I just wanted to ask all of you an honest question and give me your opinions about this. To all gamers and enthusiasts which do you prefer, ATI or NVidia? I personally like NVidia GPU's because they're like adrenaline shots to your games, like the advertisements say. They have good core clocks and memory clocks, oh crap.

However, ATI has had the first GPU ever to have dual graphics processors. A lot of brands have sold versions of ATI's chipsets in their own fashion, and I mean a lot. AND, Eyefinity technology. ^.^

This is just my opinion. Tell me what you think and leave an answer for the poll above. I would like to hear you guys opinions.

I had 3 NVidia's, but every single one overheated after 6 months -.-.
Now I've got the ATI Radeon 5670(or sth like this) and its temperature never goes higher than 65C and the ones of NVidia always had sth around 120C and max. 160C!

So in my opinion ATI is better ^^.

I had a Nvidia and now I have an ATI. I think both worked quite well, and I never had problems with any of them. So I don't really know which is better (except the fact a Nvidia one would have cost 100€ more for the same quality when I bought my new pc)

ATI, simply because my Nvidia over-heated and pretty much destroyed itself ( I think that was because i over-clocked it and didnt remeber to put a bigger cooling fan on it until the day it melted down ). Nvidia needs cooling if you want to over-clock it and so ATI hits the spot because i can increase the volatge and clock speed a little without having to buy an expenisve cooler
Plus ATI has the Eyefinity, which can display on 6 monitors at the same time, plus ATI's multi-GPU fusion thingy works a charm

I won't vote as I am an nVidia fanboy, the answer would be evident.
ATI are cheaper than nVidia though, even if the same quality.

I own an NVidia GeForce 9800 GT Green Edition graphics card with 2 GB Ram, it only cost me about 100 € and I never had any problems with it since I bought it like 2 years ago.

with those 2 GB Ram I can only laugh about the system requirements of most games and I dont even need to overclock it!

also, this graphics card needs the amount of space of 2 slots on my motherboard, one for the actual plugin itself and one for the cooler/fan which sits on the side of it.
I also have a program installed on my pc which allows me to control this fan but it is set to automatic-mode and it always runs at only 30% of its maximum power, so I dont think this graphics card will overhead anytime soon

well, unfortunately I dont have Crisis

but I already played Gothic 3 on it with maximum details and it didnt lag for a bit, even if every single person who ever played this game will tell you that this game will lag at any graphics card
