Hi everyone! I started making a rpg map and i wanted to put images of monsters in the map, so players can kill them, i used env_breakable under them and when player breaks it, the image disappears. I managed to make one image that doesnt have the purple background and it worked pretty well. But the next time i tried to put an image in the map, it had purple background. I havent succeeded on doing a good image on the map after that. I tried many times. So now i really need your help! Please help me.

What entity did you use? You have to use env_image entity to put images with purple background.

I tried on both sprite and image but it wont work :(. I dont know how i managed to make the first image looking so nice.
Do you have any other suggestions? :S

Also, does it matter what kind of purple i use on the image? Because i noticed that the purple on paint and the purple on the image are different and i use the paints purple when i fill the white spots of the image.

Does it matter do i save it in png or gif form? I noticed that it doesnt really work in gif, so is there a form you have to save it in?

use env_image instead of env_sprite, and fuchsia background (255;0;255) will not be shown

Just make the background black, then make it as a sprite, click on it then at the bottom right you will see mask, put 4 in that box, then the black background will dissapear
Edit: I made a pic for you..

You have to CLICK the Masked radio button in order for it to work.

The black background thing works when i just draw a green square and put a black background on it, but when i try it on the monsters it doesnt remove the black background. Could the problem be in the monsters?

Did you do what I said - CLICK the Masked radio button?
Maybe the black background isn't 0 0 0?
