I highly doubt. And it's "him" not "they". There's only one person developing CS2D.

Also the Gamestop controller I think automatically mounts to the computer when plugged (not sure), but I heard the buttons are hard to push.
If you do use a controller or if DC implements this feature, I would recomend the control settings be something similar to Call of Duty.

can playstation 3 controllers be used like joysticks/joypads on normal PCs? I probably could implement it in this case (because blitzmax has joystick support) but you would have to buy me such a controller so I can test it...

However, wouldn't it somehow be easier if you just bought a mouse and keyboard? if you haven't already got that stuff.

Could be that he wants to play it differently? Although it's his own choice anyway.
Same way as Minecraft can run off an Xbox 360 controller.

By playing using a PS3 remote control it would be quite like playing Counter-Strike on the Xbox console, it will result in the same epic fail aim. You'd get a kill once a hour, you'd have to be pretty good with a PS3 controller in that case. I consider this suggestion quite annoying since mouse and keyboard wins any day.
Like I said on my previous post, it would be the choice of Dantes Inferno.
