The servers are mainly located in Europe and USA.
What kind of ping do you think I would have?

The whole time I played CS2D I was banned by antispeeder TWICE. I can't see the point in removing it because a bunch of people don't like it, maybe a few versions later it will become a formidable protection system.

Changed my mind. That server sucks.

I don't know but I think the connection speed (slow, average and fast) had an effect on the antispeeder. Because I played on a server (a knife arena map) with slow, then, I changed to fast and after 3 seconds running, the antispeeder bans me.

Unknown soldier, i have noticed that sometimes too, usually i get banned when i change it to fat/moderate.
And when i put it slow, i don't get kicked with'in 5 minutes of play.

Why remove it... Just try playing to servers which you get under 200 ping... Playing over means a over 2 seconds delay and bad connection which is perfect for you getting mistaken by the anti-speed engine...

I HAD bad ping ( till i upgradeg to 2mb/s even thought it's not that good ) but NEVER EVER in my life got banned by the speed hack crap... maybe once. I just can't support that 300+ ping feel lolz... I mostly played in HC... (live in the middle east) Recently i get a real good latency ( under 200 to 100 sometime under 100... )
