Simply follow these steps and you'll be able to use firefox again.

• Press the keys CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open up the taskmanager.
• See the tab "Processes" and click on it. Terminate the process called "firefox.exe" all of them(usually there is just one or two) that will ensure that the program is not running and you can thereby launch firefox again with no problems.
• To do so, press the WIN-Key(The Windows key) + R and type firefox into the field and then press OK you'll now launch firefox again safely.

I'd recommend reinstalling firefox if you have further issues with it.

I've had this happen once in awhile to. It is usually cause FireFox doesn't close properly, and leaves a hidden window in the background, so the computer reads that there is a window already open and there for, won't open it up again. Closing it down with the Task Manager works fine.

For your Internet Explorer, that I can't help. I've had that happen on my old computer, I got lucky sometimes and got a window to open, only to freeze up the whole computer. Which is why I use Firefox now.

Happened to me long time ago, before i started using Opera.

I think or am pretty sure that it automatically updates itself withought telling you. Maybe you a slow connectiong ( like me ) so it's takes time for it to update. Or it's just like Kimkat said

Just a question, why is it Kimkat7 lol ?

@DoP3: Fakenickers you know, there is people using "KimKat" as their nickname. Fakenicking has increased alot since I started using this nickname. About 10 years ago there was like 2-3 people having it in the whole world although as the name gets mentioned alot they be like, oh I want to have that name I want to be KimKat and from there it begins. They use it therefor I had to "upgrade my nickname" sort of and by that I added the number seven. It's just a way to easier identify me on the web as the genuine KimKat more or less, but as we all know we can't be 100% sure still haha anyways that's my story of why I added the 7.

And yes it might even be a firefox update running in the background, but in some cases it's not. It's just the browser window going into freeze mode and disappear from the user and remains simply as a process. That's my analysis on it.

@KimKat7 (Or KimKat ;P):Well yeah Coz i know you ( well i know yo don't know me) since Fps banna in the old cs2d skinning days ( also known D1amond but people disgrace so much here why the heck :/)

I'd recommend having Firefox, Opera, Chrome and IE9 on your PC... I got them all.. I mostly use Opera but when there's a slight problem i got to FF... then if there's a problem with FF i go to IE ( chromes the last lulz..)

Theses days I started using FF because of the personas plus lot's of extensions... ( I used FF my whole life, till they started making the Beta's for FF 4, got to beta 7 then some dude on DeviantArt suggested trying Opera. Tried Opera once, used it allways haha.)

What FF would need to be perfect would something resembling the Speed Dial of Opera.

Opera's the original, Chrome, FF, IE9 copied opera in every way haha ;P ( i can get proof is you'd like )

Thank guys, it worked
And now I have another problem: I can't turn off my computer after I play a game. Everytime I try to turn off, nothing happen... Maybe because I install too many games ??

Well I'm not really sure but a fast solution would be to press your off button for about 10 seconds or more to completely off it. ( just don't that too much, it might rape your PC if you do it let's say, 10 times a day )
