I don't know what is going on with my computer, but today, I keep getting this Error.
"Generic host process for win32 services".
IMG:https://huynhphuclinh.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/win3220services.jpg

If I press " Don't send", my computer will freeze.
If I leave it there, my connection slow down, about 9kb/sec.
I keep getting this every 10 minutes after.

Can someone tell me a way to fix this ? It's really annoying !

If it is svchost.exe you must reinstall your operation system because its probrably corrupt or something. If you close it trough taskmanager the pc will shutdown or restart.

Some time ago (alot now) Microsoft started moving all of the functionality from internal Windows services into .dll files instead of .exe files. From a programming perspective this makes more sense for reusability… but the problem is that you can’t launch a .dll file directly from Windows, it has to be loaded up from a running executable (.exe). Thus the svchost.exe process was born.

Strongly dont suggest that, it broke my pc. Deleted a windows file e_e.
I don't know what your smokin, but it doesn't delete anything unless you tell it do, much like any other of the billion programs out there. Cause what exactly did it delete that 'broke' your pc?

I'd never use something like that.
Why not? This program does EXACTLY what every smart computer person does, it only makes it easier for the 'not so computer smart' that don't know how to clean a computer properly.

Well, imho, Windows is a pretty badly designed OS, so being a so-called "smart computer person" wouldn't help unless you specialised in Windows ( *yuck* ).

Btw, gatung, defragmenting your harddisk/s and cleaning your register will not help. The generic host process ( I think ) for Windows XP ( home and prof. ) is named svhost.exe or something similar. I think in Windows 7 it is called taskhost.exe, if I remember correctly.

EDIT: ( left this part out )
I think it is best to go to a local computer store and ask them to check if your Windows installation is not damaged in someway, tell them about the error, they should be able to help. svhost.exe is pretty vital to the system ( as you can see ) however it can get damaged sometimes.

@Terrorized

I used advanced systemcare 3 e_e

Deleted explorer.exe
A virus must have infected your computer badly then, and upon removing the virus, it took down the rest of your computer.
Did it completely remove explorer, or just shut it down?

It just removed explorer. Then nothing showed up on desktop, desided to restart. After restarting windows would send me back to the boot screen e_e

It was a long time ago, i hope Advanced Systemcare 4 is better. Imma test it on an old PC i got. Il just infect the explorer with the same virus i had.

is this kinda virus or just things that you downladed everywhere

maybe its a exe you may have to find it..

did you see this when your computer starts? or when you do things??? maybe this is a fake virus try to prevent downloading things they may have a exe in it that can be opened by the windows prevent those things try to use registry cleaner/register easy for free at youtube make sure the safer one. this maybe an error from windows

THE EASIEST WAY!

1.) reformat pc
2.) registry cleaner
3.) scan pc or diagnose with with advance system care

if this didnt work say bye bye to your computer
