23 repliesYes, for me, it's not so boring like Minecraft, i love those randomly generated worlds full of caverns, and other wonderful 2D things such as: Underworld, Underground Jungles, Flying Islands. Also, there are Events: Blood Moon, Rise of Cthulhu (Eye), Eater of Worlds, Skeletron (Dungeon), and other, awesome stuff.

Only reason I would consider getting this game is if you're unable to run Minecraft or if you're looking for an alternative to Minecraft.

Make sure that Windows Framework is updated along with your graphics card or you can try:
A.) Reinstalling XNA
B.) Uninstalling then reinstalling the game (assuming you haven't pirated it)

That was aimed on all fucking people that mean, you are able to say "MINECRAFT OR TERRARIA" because these games are generally SO FUCKING DIFFERENT, you can't imagine, really. Really.

Neither of them are "realistic" and both pretty much follow fantasy.
It's not like these games are bad anyway, I use both and enjoy both.

Realistic in such things like: Skeletons, Zombies, Explodin' Creepers, Lava in buckets, Giant Spiders (Tibia?), and such ... "realistic thing" as Torch NOT making light around you (when holded in hand). That's very realistic, isn't it?
Maybe Terraria have got some of them too, Terraria is the same thing as Minecraft, but it shows, it's not realistic, shows it's fantasy-like-RPG-Survival.
P.S. Forget about Nether and Ghasts.
