I recently downloaded CS:2D dedicated, Port-forwarded & got my server up.
It was all fine, and everyone could see it in the server list.

But then something went wrong. I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden when i tried turning my server on earlier, nobody could see it in the server list, nor could I.

Help would be good. us

P.S: Please dont lock the topic.

The messages from the console in-game are normal.

I'm guessing you mean the CS:2D dedicated.exe console? It says that the CS:2D Server entry is updated etc.

It might be because you are on a network and your local IP address changed every time you turn on/off your computer/router.

Look, you are talking to someone that has been hosting cs2d servers for about a year and a half now. The port cannot change randomly unless you have the most pathetic and useless router EVER.

That's correct. My sister restarted the router the other day. What do i do now?

And don't go off-topic please, this isn't about why or when your stupid port number changes.

The port in the settings cannot change, I know for a fact that the IP address changes when computers and/or the router is switched on and off. I am sure that it happens to NetGear and D-Link routers, as I have used/use them. THe router assigns IP address according to the time that they joined. If your laptop connects before the computer you use for the dedicated server starts first, the IP will be different than if your computer which you used for the dedicated server connected before your laptop.

I fixed it now. I'm using a NETGEAR router, so yeah, the last digit of my local IP changes each time i restart my router.

@PartyPooPer: Delete your account, faggot. Why did you start flaming me on my previous account, it's so fucken annoying.

Now you can close the topic, thankyou.

Listen up, go ask DC, before you start talking shit.

I've got an account which my younger cousin fucked my KpD in, & i made this one since I was mistakenly banned from someone saying i had multiple accounts.
DC knew that i only had one, but he forgot that I sent him a PM.
