The Main Point is "Get The BEST Antivirus"

I Got Antivirus that my Friend think it's a Great Antivirus, but still it cannot detect some virus that were STRONG!

Doesn't mean that virus writers aren't becoming clever enough to make them undetectable.

I think my most recent one was where my Antivirus was picking up one of my Steam games as a virus.

I get viruses from all kinds of sources, websites which comes with sometimes "malicious advertisements" at times I click something wrongly and also at times I don't even have to click on the ads since they popup with different techniques and infect computer with tracking cookies which can be used to attract ads which may contain malicious content. One time the "Windows Defender" Anti-Virus software at my school, this was a virus. It deleted itself and did lots of crazy operations. I was like "what's going on here?" how can a trusted Anti-Virus application just go crazy like that, it all just made no sense to me.

Some minutes after this happened the PC got hit with like 46 trojans from nowhere and then I just installed AVG and then all the trojans disappeared like magic after I scanned and quarantined them. I thank AVG Anti-Virus for doing it's job right lol.

I've always thought AVG as being a pain in the ass sometimes.

Also, my college had a virus which was spreading through computers on peoples USB sticks. I'm surprised it took the college administrators a week to fix the problem.

I had a virus that made my screen flash different colours to give people seizures.

1 that was opening the "ctrl + r" or the Run program and at the end my pc crashed since the program was opened too much times.

I got only 2 viruses by myself.

1. That was a pr0n shit. I installed some crap and then a random pr0n ad appeared every hour. After I became pissed off I deleted it thank to a simple tutorial (Internet power!)

2. It isn't a long ago. I got that virus via adf.ly I had Kaspersky installed but turned off cuz I wanted it only to check the whole PC (already deinstalled :P)
The virus is another "gema-virus" (germans will know that name). It blocks your Computer (even in safe mode) and don't let you open anything (no desktop, etc.). Then it tells you that you downloaded illegally some random crazy shit and you have to pay random(50,250) Euros to turn it off. I had to replace Utilman.exe with an command prompt to remove it (the removing itself was pretty easy; ProcessExplorer FTW!). All I did is to remove some registry keys and get back the Explorer Context menu (DisableContextMenu or similar in registry)

The second time, it was just the next day or so, my friend invited me some days ago. As I come to him he tells me that Microsoft is really greedy and wants money after he bought the license (of course... :D). So I told him the truth and we started his PC. That shit (just a newer version of my virus (see above)) didn't let me to run ProcessExplorer. But it was okay because we downloaded with Firefox a similar to ProcExp tool and found out the name of that programm. It was even easier to remove it: just one entry in the registry. And then we're done.

/nope/

I kept the original names and saved them only for memory, not for use but however, if you wanna to infect your PC choose one of both.

Windows. Shit was real, man.

I am serious. Windows always broke down for me in 6 months or so of use. Had to re-install it every God damn time.

I don't usually get viruses but when i do, humanity will notice that ;P

A long time ago, I got a virus somehow. It was a fake antivirus that blocked everything from opening. Even task manager. It tried to force me to buy it, but then I booted to safe mode and removed it via Malwarebytes virus remover.

I was lucky.

The weirdest virus that I ever got wasn't as malicious as the ones people have gotten here, and I got it back in the day when I only had dial-up and thus no antivirus. It changed all the default text on Windows dialogues into trash talk.

I had a Russian version of Windows at the time, but it was roughly like 'Yes' would be 'Oh fuck yeah' and shit like that.

It must have been the first and only virus I've ever gotten, actually.

I had virus similliar to this one you had, but It wasn't possible to enter safe mode, It was not possible to install Malware Bytes, and when I tried to reinstall system I had random letters falling like a matrix, I had to format all partitions to get rid of it.
