USB Incident

Recent last few days, i accidentally hit my USB that was just plugged on the Computer. It was on and the red light was on the USB. I knocked it off the computer and when i went to put it back in, the light wouldn't come on, and i couldn't find it in 'My Computer' like it wasn't working or connected.
Can anyone find a solution on how to fix my USB and thoughts on what might have happened to it? i need desperate help because sadly, the USB is what i use for my CS2D; that includes all Scripts, maps, and gfx's i've been working on.
It would bring me to sudden sadness if all of my years work were to be lost.

Might have corrupted it, this is why you should back up the files on your computer. And then later on you can purchase a new USB if need be.

Broken. Simple answer.
It is possible, that the memory is still readable, but you broke the USB as a whole thing. So if you are not into stuff like removing parts from inside the USB and replacing them (which would probably get you to the same result: nothing), your stuff is lost. Stop hitting hardware bro.

I once broke my computerscreen when shooting at stuff in my room with a homemade K'nex shotgun. Good times.

its coming... watchout o.o.
I've tormented my external hard disk SOO MUCH. It has gotten hit with my leg like 3 times, fallen on the floor over 50 times and so on. It still works.
You should always "safely remove hardware from pc" with usbstick. When usbstick is writing data, usbstick will get corrupt.
There is software that restores all the data on the usb-stick, if you really want it.

Unless it can stand "suprise removal".
[sarcasm] When you remove the usbstick while copying Minecraft on it, the game will, if played, include half blocks and spazzing cows [/sarcasm]

Why'd you use an usb-stick anyways. 4-Shared exists, you nobodies out there!
