I'll no longer work on the mod, so I'm uploading what was done.
To get the new story mode to work you'll need to download the version 1.0.0 and copy the "adventure" and "ultimate" files in "mods\forest mod\maps" and paste them in the new mod's maps file (in "mods\forest mod\maps").

Some new stuffs:
√ In hand items.
√ Run when press the left shift button.
√ Scope for the rifle and arbalest when press the right mouse button.
(Sorry, no zoom, only the scope image).
√ Open the map with a single key.
√ Special key that will increase your attacks for 10 seconds.(needs 30 seconds to can be used again)
√ If you walk on burning campfires you'll start to burn.
√ Chest script changed, now you can store items in the closed chest too.
√ New combinations and new buildings.
√ Now you can empty the explosive barrel and obtain blackpowder, and can fill the barrel with blackpowder in order to create an explosive barrel.
√ New potions that increase the player's health.
√ Many new units, objects and items.
√ Support for windows seven and vista.
√ Almost all hand bugs has been fixed.

You can't do it without his permission.


I know it, but he's just not responding me and he's the only one that didn't respond me, and I want release the mod as soon as possible, because it's almost complete.
And a lot of people here in the site use things without give credits to people that helped then, I at least am giving credits to him.

The story is basically this:

You wake up in a unknown village, you just can't remember anything. You go through the village and talk with some people, they talk somethings about how did you get there, but nothing realy important, then you help then (there are 2 quests and a secret quest). Then you go to the second Island where you find some civilizate people. After it I created 2 quests and one secret quest, but nothing more. And I still wanting add more quests (about 2 or 3). I want some help!!!

If you want know details about the story sand me a message with your idea for the story, if it be good, I'll tell you the details about the story.

Obs.:
∗ I'll not reveal details about the story because there are a lot of surprises in the story.
∗ In the secret quests you only gain items without do nothing, but you must do them to pass to the next Island.
∗ All the islands are located in the same map, but they're separeted for a sea with a lot of sharks.
∗ There's a final boss on the map, that already been created.

Anyway great idea for the mod, maybe make it there is no cursor, so when usingthe scope, its giving you a cursor to use for the gun.... just an idea

I tried to do something like this, adding the cursor only when using some long range weapon, but this didn't work, and don't ask me why I used the same script BiGSiD used in the rocket launcher, and it works fine on it, but when I try to do it, it just not work. And yes, I wrote the script correctly.

I think that tutorial map have to be in single player section.

Okay, since the islands are all together in one map, maybe if you can build jetties, you can connect them all together, so you wouldn't have to keep on sailing through shark-infected waters. :3
If you woke up in a village, and the natives give you clues on HOW you got there, then on the other islands, you will find clues! Collect specific items located on each island, and you can create a portal, which leads you to ANOTHER set of islands on another map. This set of islands will have the civilized people, with their modern houses and such. From there, there could be a disturbance in the islands. Some specific people will want you to do some quests for them. When completed, those people will unleash... The final boss!
Or something.

I'll be locking the build of jeties or some other vehicle in my Island.
And about the clues, I'm already doing it, and in the final Island I'll be puting various agressive creatures to give more action to the game.

All I want now is someone that know model and could help me with some units.

And taking advantage of I'm writing here, did someone find any bug on the mod?
