its not a bug
i have it too.~
its mean the orginal image is so big or maybe little big
and google smalled it if you click " Full-size"
the image going to the orginal scale

Well let's just come to a conclusion that those type of images are bigger scaled images and the Google search engine actually scales them and saves them into image caches. Infinityx probably means that the image is reaching the maximum allowed width that has been set by the Google image service, so that's why "Infinityx" is displayed on images like that, I think there can occur some "Infinityy" aswell, it's a image size thing (y = height) and (x = width) to be simple and pedagogical. I also found the Images Java API. That's all I can tell.

Looks completely off. Infinity * (!) larger. Seems to me that it's just an error where the image is scaled to 0x0 for whatever reason.

x as in times. Infinity times larger that means - you're off.

well svg (Scaleable Vector Graphics) can be zoomed without quality loss, so thay could be ∞x (infinityx) as they dont (technicly) have a size limit
