Here I stand, motivated by Paradox Interactive's Penumbra series, a horror game that made me shit my pants and deprived me of sleep for weeks. This masterpiece deserves more fans and so I decided to advertise the game in my own way.

The Vent is basically a horror survival campaign for cs2d, something that I have been planning to work on for over 2 years. None of my previous attempts (3 in number) have succeeded as I could not bring the game to an end due to general lack of skill in various fields and/or improper motivation. This time however, I can guarantee it's completion, those words being backed up by the considerable amount of progress I made so far.

More information on the actual campaign will be added soon, including screenshots and maybe a recording of the first few minutes of gameplay.

Sounds great. I mean, if you turn CS2D so creepy as in the video previews from Penumbra's website, then I shall risk some of my nights and play it.

Good luck, sir.

Sounds interesting. Definitely will give it a go.

Roughly how long would the campaign take to complete?

Long enough, the episode I'm working on now will be composed of several huge maps, but that's not all there is to it- figuring problems out and reading notes that will be spread all over the place is bound to take time.

I wanted to make a thing like that,
but then I got an arrow in the knee.

And if you copied me again you will have an arrow in the other knee.

Screens are awesome, tiles and sprites too. It's looking really good, can't wait to see it released.
